That's pretty much all connections, but there's another reason, animation potential

This could of been the best battle possible with a kickass song, but nope it was fucken ruined.
And because of this, Shadow ended on a whimper with 0-2.
All honestly, Shadow vs Mewtwo is my least like battle of all time, and how screwed Shadow was in the end. Which is why I want him to return so he wouldn't end on a whimper, but a bang.
Sorry for a rant, want to vent myself after listening to this.

Lupin III could be a decent option.
Now the Justice League, first is Batman.
I don't like Batman as much due to being overused and his fanbase, but I see him coming back the Avengers vs Justice League. Other than that, Moon Knight is his best bet.

Stomps and Stomps, the Flashes are just too god damn fast for everyone. Wally isn't going to return in a Death Battle unless it's a speedster battle royal.
Barry is going to return if he fights Silver Surfer and Battle royal so...gotta go stomp.
