Just the explanation for GER is so tedious it is rumored Rooster Teeth crew will rather find a person Giorno stomps, or pick another overpowered tuxedo mask "gentleman thief" male character to fight Ren Amamiya.

From what I've heard, popular ones are Gwenpool vs Haruko (iirc Ultraguy likes this), Magneto vs Tetsuo, Thor vs Vegeta, Supergirl vs Sailor Moon (saw a comment saying at least one RT member is pushing for this, though I don't think this one is likely since they seem to be the only person that likes this), and Simon vs Kyle. Only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

But do Death Battle accept extra dimensional TTGL? Even people in our site are discussing the possibility of downgrade of TTGL to 1 to 2 universe busting.
And Kyle is Hal Jordan Green Lantern tier and is a notable White Lantern wielder, so expect 1 or 2 universe busting with crazy hax.
Also, the weirdness of size difference - and does Kyle even have size manipulation? From an animation point of view that does not affect the vs debating part.
(I hate how hard it is to search for key words in DBW Discord so as to dig into one keyword for any rumors about Ren vs Giorno - that I read it once but cannot find it later. Even harder if I am kicked out of DBW Discord from time to time for no reason other than glitches and take weeks to enter that again.)
But yeah Supergirl losing to Sailor Moon is more certain so expect that to happen instead maybe.
Maybe irrelevant: is EOS Tetsuo Shima a thing or not? And what are the main connections between Tetsuo and Magneto other than both able to manipulate electromagnetism?

Magneto vs Tetsuo connections:
Mutants who gained the ability to manipulate the environment around them due to their immense powers. Both characters had extremely rough upbringings and had to survive at all costs even if they hurt others. Due to this they lost their faith in humanity and ultimately embraced using their powers not caring for the consequences of their actions against humans. Due to their insane power they both have a cult/group created that felt they were the next stage of human evolution. They would go on to become supreme rulers of their own nation.
Also, a bit unrelated, but in the comics, Magneto fought Kenji Uedo , who's based off of Tetsuo.
