They could do it like how Asura fought Wyzen, but with the roles reversed.

Asura becomes The Destructor and tries to poke Kratos, but Kratos catches his attack. He struggles for a bit, activates his Spartan Rage, then punches Asura apart. It ends with Asura reverting to his base rage, and the two just slugging it out. Kratos then presses O for an hour

This should satisfy the need for the fight to reach a cosmic scale. Plus Kratos overpowering giants is a tale as old as time, it's nothing new.

well i was about to say Destructor doesn't need to be included where Asura most powerful state be the one that killed Chakravatin anyways but ya idea works

Ah yes, let's just ignore that Yggdrasil is a higher construct holding up the realms and let's just ignore Bifrost coated Realms and that the physical space in question is the Realm Between Realms, and all the other stuff that I'm missing. It's a pretty common trope in GoW, something/someone holding up the cosmology, the realms occupying the same space (Yggdrasil's branches in the Realm Between Realms) has always been known. Or the fact that Surtr shook the entire damn tree to its roots.
