I’m not sure what you’re getting at here. They literally did include more unexpected franchises. All I’m saying is that it was never some rule they were following, they’re just doing what they want.

Throw the idea to Death Battle OFFICIAL Discord (by subscribing to Death Battle as Champion members) or commission to Brandon Yates or Werewolf Therewolf or Skye TehGM (because he stops receiving commission for making vs music) for some music or even Luis Cruz on some mock battle images...



Someone mentions Death Battle tend to screw up when it comes to dimension scaling unless it is on Marvel or DC or Archie Comics.
Does it mean Aigis is not 1-A in front of Noel Vermilion and Ren Amamiya is not 1-A in front of Giorno Giovanna or Tohru Adachi is not 1-A in front of Yoshikage Kira or...
We may risk on having 2-C Kratos vs 6-C Dante or 2-C King Drasil vs Low 1-C Arceus?

Geralt and Guts similarities:
1. Orphans
2. Been fighting since children
3. Cold and rough exterior at first but eventually became more open and kind
4. Constantly fights opponents that are stronger than them
5. Infamous reputations
6. Both hated their future lover at first
7. Raises a kid that changes them (Ciri/Moonlight boy)
8. Both had no direction on their life and they mostly did action because it suited someone else's benefit
9. Geralt doing Monster Contracts and Guts doing mercenray work under the band of the hawk
10. They had a major influence on the settings politics
11. Geralt is thought to have killed foltest, king of Temeria and assited in killing of Radovid, the king of Redenia. Guts assisted the band of the hawk towards taking down the fortress which vastly changed the political landscapes of the setting.
12. Their first love interests were women that were considered freaks for one reason or another, and they utterly despised them at first and were previously really close relationship with the main antagonist.

14. Geralt seeking to Eredin and Guts seeking Femto
15. In their adventures they meet supernatural entetites that questions the main characters morals and change them for the better, and also aid them in battle
16. Regis (and many more) and Puck

17. After the characters experience one of their most traumatic experiences, they now wander the plains to find a purpose. They now realize the mistake they've made and try to fix the mistake
18. Geralt after dying and resurrected with amnesia remembering his past and remembering that Yennefer and Ciri were kidnapped by the Wild Hunt. Guts after the eclipse trying to slay apostles just to learn that Patato Casca has been lost.

19. The now found purpose of the main character is to find their loved ones, with answers leading to more questions.
20. Geralt finding Yennefer and Ciri. Guts finding Casca
21. Their quest towards finding them intermingles them between major world factions. They go through battlefields, armadas, the church, the inqusition, monsters, etc. just so they can find their loved ones
22. Geralt being intermingled in Nilfgaardian empire invading the Northern realms and fighting the church of the eternal fire. Guts finding himself chased by the Holy see and getting stuck in a battlefield waged between the middle kingdoms and the Kushan Empire
23. From all these experience the main character now finds a deeper meaning than killing for a few coins, and his friends have made him experience more emotions than just anger and emptitens.
24. Geralt with his friends and Guts with his traveling party
25. While searching for purpose they also are constantly reminded of their destiny, and destiny they're struggling to fight against and a destiny that will doom everything they hold dear.
26. Geralt and the white frost. Guts and the brand of sacrifice
27. When they finally achieve their goal and rescue their loved ones, they're almost instantly taken away because they either can't be with them or because they have a destiny of their own
28. Geralt found Ciri but her destiny is that she is to die to the white frost which defeats the purpose of Geralt seraching for her. Guts had Casca healed and finally regain her memories, but at last he couldn't approach her because she gained her PTSD back which defeated the purpose of healing her.
