Hey Kirbonic, not sure if you already paid money for the commission yet, but another possible ost you can look at for a reference track is maybe the Jack Bros game
I haven't paid for Kasen v Sonic or Jack v Cirno yet nah, I'm waiting for Brandon & Therewolf to reopen commissions. I did dig thru Jack Bros' ost a bit and I'm not sure if anything would work well in a track, maybe as a motif reference?

Synchronicity Prologue would likely be better to pull from (doubly so in a meta way because that game was developed by the people who would go on to make Touhou Luna Nights).

Heaven Dio has a match vs the what if Ultron, dont think abyone wants that Dio face off anyone besides what if Ultron
To be fair, What If Ultron was a pretty recent development for him, and Sakuya was one of his more popular MUs for years. I really doubt they'd do it though and I'd also rather them not do that MU and go with one of Sakuya's others too tbh lol.

About 750k views in the first day for BondWick. I think this is more so because it’s the mid-season premiere, but the views don’t look promising.

A shame honestly, I’d like more grounded fights like this to balance out the mostly super powered fights.
yeh tho also the fact it came off a break doesn't help

we'll see how goes in the upcoming weeks

in other news Herkong and BobaPred broke into the 2Mil range today

could've been worse. but yeah back to season 8 (pre-bangers) numbers, we'll see what happens after a week. some episodes have rough starts, but better legacy and vise versa. like for example Thorgeta did worse than MagTetsuo at first, but over time, did way better.

Agreed but as we discussed in the previous pages we kinda accepted this DB will be mid in terms of overall reception, ofc actually seeing it receive mediocre feedback and views still hits different from actually predicting it.

It kinda takes something very special (e.g a live action fight, a godly animation, hype advertising or just be SnakeSam) for street tier grounded battles to exceedingly well on DB.

Yah no, Sakuya has others as matches, Heaven Dio vs What if Ultron is far better as match, its literally 2 villains that won in an alternate reality and have reality bending powers, its far better then Sakuya

Only one main issue I had with that Death Battle was the fact that they severely underestimated John's fire-power with his fire-arms. John Wick (the verse.) are pretty ridiculous and far from ground with how those guns actually work.

For example in the first chapter, and I believe the 2nd chapter even standards pistols were leaving holes in solid steel beams, whereas only such is accomplished with high caliber rifles in real-life. Also the shot-gun being able to pulverize High-table armor that were deflecting gun-fire from automatic assault rifles, the aforementioned pistols, etc.

Another thing I didn't quite understand was them failing to bring up John's military background since it's heavily insinuated that John served in the Marines in the past.

Ultimately it wouldn't change much since they used a composite Bond, but the analysis could have been better. Also they definitely should have included John's comic stuff since it's canon to the movies, where he dodges bullets pretty often.

A 3 month long break is sure to hurt anything in the long run. I'd say we probably need to wait a couple weeks to a month to see the proper view count for this one.

I think they definitely should have noted that John's Shotgun in 3 absolutely could've pulverized Bond in a single shot if he could land a hit with it. The plated armor that thing was decimating would be far beyond Bond's body armor and would absolutely kill him in one shot. While I think they did an overall good job covering both verses, my complaints about what they gave Bond aside, there were a couple things I would've liked to see mentioned for Wick.
