If a verse can be properly constructed with all information properly justified,I do not see the reasons why not.
Some smaller verses already go thru issues like this.

Sad that HxH's most likely first MU's going to be a Omni-Man vs Homelander level mismatch, done less so because it's Deku's best MU and more so because Gon just hasn't got a better MU for some reason lol.

HxH also isn't quite strong outside of hax. And hax as a whole is something DB takes a far more cautious approach than Vsbattles

Meruem vs Kars is still a stomp but it’s a toss up between who stomps

That speed difference cements the deal since Kars has hax that Meruem doesn't resist. Only way i can see Meruem taking this is if they use that photon control ability he has to give him FTL reactions and speed, allowing him to keep up with Kars and catch/kill him with AP stomp worthy large AOE attacks.

Though I am happy with Kabuto Yakushi vs Kaname TĹŤsen (some may substitute Kaname Tosen for Gin Ichimaru)
Oh Ichigo Kurosaki (Post-Timeskip) vs Yoh Asakura and/or Yhwach vs Hao Asakura are actually requested. Yusuke Urameshi may steal the match from Ichigo but Yhwa-o is still there.
