If you all had a choice would you rather do:

Big Boss vs Nick Fury?

or

Big Boss vs Altair?

Because I'm finding myself leaning more towards the latter. I know the former is the one going to happen, but I doubt Altair is going to get in over the other Assassin's, and I want a break from Marvel vs Non-DC, maybe just do Non-DC vs Non-Marvel.
 
I wonder how people who never watched Akira would react to this

Both are basically the progenitors of their franchise, the gold standard that everyone compares themselves too (Altair is the perfect assassin, Big Boss the perfect soldier). There's also the basic connection of both being the best at what they do, covert ops and assassinating, and both are massive figureheads in the stealth gaming genre.

There might be more little connections, but those are the ones that are easy to see from a glance.

Blame Bowser vs Ganondorf. (And that Ganondorf is smart enough not to die easily in game and actually succeeded in a few timelines the hero side resorted to some reboots and retcons.)

When one's speed advantage is overwhelmed by another's AP advantage and the other has a more readily available sure fire win move. Whose standings on the stat trio is questionable given the former has upgrades in stats by various means.

Just got through the tedious process of making calc blogs and / or cosmology blogs, then make a verse construction thread, then the verse pages and character pages. With weapon pages if you want.
