Uh. No. Even when Maine didn't have it and it was being run alone (no other abilities eating up power), Maine was tearing through it pretty easily. More attacks means more drain on power. I believe this was in South Dakota's encounter, but Maine broke through it with his 8-B weapons. Doomguy would be able to do the same.
Because the shield survived a 7-B attack mostly by tanking it once (as in it impacted and left those beneath it alive and near-death). The 7-B attack literally destroyed the shield and nearly the ship the user was on.
The only reason it probably saved them at all is it was a physical deterrent that had to be destroyed.
Meta's basically fighting someone of a higher tier. His only option is to run away until Berserk wears off, but he'd never do that, especially not bloodlusted. So sorta stompy.
I was under the impression that bloodlusted = completely OOC and willing to use their strongest/most dangerous abilities right off the bat, regardless of what they would normally do in a fight.
I mean, yes, but at most the name should be changed.
Bloodlust exists so that a character can fight witout their PIS holding them down, as the page itself notes:
It should be noted that there are differences between natural bloodlust (the kind that exists within fictional continuities) and induced bloodlust (the kind used in a vs. thread). Induced bloodlust means the character is free from Plot Induced Stupidity, whereas naturally bloodlusted characters are still vulnerable to this, and are often hampered by it even more than level-headed characters. For example, they may simply attack recklessly, without planning or thinking, or using their powers creatively.
@Ricsi Induced Bloodlust should be changed to something like Victorylust like Dark brought up, as the way that induced bloodlust is described isnt actually bloodlust at all
Also, the description's wrong since making them fight optimally is the removal of CIS, not PIS. PIS is removed by default since there's no plot in a vs match.
