BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

Biases are bound to exist everywhere but the scaling on this site for Bleach isn’t that bad like TikTok scalers like to tote.
I am not saying its bad, its pretty good but for some stuff, the bias and dislike can be felt through what they are writing.
Look at the Bleach downgrade, you can feel that no mod cares and just agreed with the Op.

while i do agree that the site is super inconsistent when it comes to different verse, ichigos fate manip is simply headcanon. like, he was changing fate, but that's because he was moving into different futures, and yhwach, who can see all the futures, was pointing that out. yhwach was basically just ******* with ichigo, saying that no matter what future he jumps into, he will lose.

Trust me “bias” is not what’s keeping Ichigo from getting fate manip here 🤣
Eh, people are usually stricter on the requirements depending for what verse you are arguing it for, So it wouldn’t surprise me if it straight up gets discarded bcs its Bleach.

He lost because he misunderstood his own ability, he saw Ichigo killing him but thought that it was a dream, this is clearly stated in the manga, even Jugram according to CFYOW saw that Ichigo will kill Yhwach and they will lose the war, are you going to say now that Jugram future sight > Yhwach?

Yhwach in that context said that fate = possibility and explained that Ichigo is just moving from one possibility to another, u are arguing using ur headcanon not what the manga literally explains
That doesn't debunk anything. Different futures or possibilities are the same thing. Ichigo is moving to different future timelines. This is not as simple as making a choice. We don't move to different future timelines when we make a choice. We are still on the same timeline and our fates are already predetermined by the future. However time in bleach works differently than the real world because it's not on one fixed timeline and can change.

Hence why yhwach says you changed your fate countless times.

Disagree with supernatural luck too, it’s not really supported. Ichigo doesn’t get lucky in combat a lot. The whole Yhwach fight wasn’t Ichigo being lucky it was the culmination of the bonds he formed along the way forging a new path to victory.

Main reason is that Yhwach did say Ichigo has annoying persistent Fortune.
Meaning through all the futures he sees Ichigo seems to get lucky quite a lot.

What the point, this just a theory.
What gets approved on this site is really inconsistent and depends on which verse you are arguing it for.
I noticed through countless crt, many mods simply dont like Bleach scaling.
But this is how i see it, not that my opinion matters
That's why I lost hope for AP scaling in wiki.🌚🌚🌚
No one in Bleach supporters has fate manipulation to change the Bleach scaling 😂.

Then u are basically trying to get fate hax for every character in Bleach? Ichigo was literally jumping from one possibility to another using his "incalculable potential" or in simple terms evolving and getting stronger during his battles, which is not something special in Bleach, it's just as if I would die in this future via car accident if I went to the market at 4 PM, I changed my mind and decided to go at 5 PM, every action you can make/think of will lead you to a different future/possibility in Bleach, it's basically how Kubo understands fate and possibilities.

What you guys are doing here is taking that speech out of context and make it sound as if Ichigo has something special and then use his scene cutting Yhwach as a supportive claim while its literally explained why Ichigo could kill him, its a theory based on misquoting and twisting, if Ichigo had something that special Yhwach would have stated it, he wouldn't have to go through the long explanation about future and fate if Ichigo already understands that, and Ichigo should btw because saying that he has that ability without knowing it is so ******* dumb as he is one with his Zanpakuto and already learnt everything about it.

Persistent during the fight, thanks to his friends saving his ass, Tsukishima and Orihime fixing his Bankai, Aizen briefly countering the Almighty, Uryu shutting down the Almighty. These aren’t products of Ichigo himself.

if fate in bleach worked as something set in stone

as in "no matter what path u choose or what u do u will always end up on X ending" then i could understand ichigo having fate hax cus he avoided that X ending that was supposed to be set in stone

But fate in Bleach works as a fluid one, "If i take X i will end up in Y, if i take G i will end up in H" so anyone can "change" fate just by deciding to take right instead of left, so i would not agree with ichigo having fate hax

plot armor =/= supernatural luck, ichigo getting his ass saved by zangetsu or just surviving something that would normally be fatal doesn't mean anything, it happens in fiction all the time. yhwach called ichigo lucky as a way to **** with him as he was the only guy so far not to get murked

I think there are countless possibilities as yhwach said where Ichibe fate was set in stone and he died as you can see but yhwach said Ichigo was leaping around those possibilities.

He was always spitting something about hope and other things. We should already know.
Gerald sword uses concept of hope to reflect damage
Jugram uses fortune to manipulate probability.

Possible explanation is Hope is what gives Ichigo to manipulate his future.

Imagine saying foreshadowing as plot armour 🥱 so by your logic every MC is just saved by plot armour

Might be some type of fate resistance if you believe all beings have a fate. So his never really matters except for the present moment. So he's not restricting to a particular fate or something and it's never set in stone because he can always change it. Like an anomaly of sorts.

Sonido actually is teleportation because when a character vanishes you cannot hit them until they reappear again. Limited teleportion though. Like if I used Sonido you can't hit me when I disappear and no character ever has that I'm aware of only after they reappear. You can hit the user b4 they vanish and after they reappear but that Inbetween they are not hittable at all same applies to shunpo

So a good step means either A.) The distance you can travel with a single step B.) How quickly you can disappear
C.) How fast you reach a destination. Those I believe are the general things with speed with sonido or shunpo. How far can you travel with a step, how fast can you vanish, and how fast you get from point a to point b. You seen characters vanish and someone gets surprised and you seen some vanish and the person doesn't care. So its if they can react to that vanish or not I think
