(No one here has a car, the city is meant to have walkable infrastructure, and other cities are accessed via train, forgot to mention that)

The mountain is only about half a mile out of town. Makes sense, since flying here from too far would be tiring. However, the sky is getting dark, and this place is very frightening.

When you arrive on the mountain, you hear nothing but the faint whispers of night birds and crickets, coupled with the rain. Knowing bats, this creature most likely lives in one of the caves in the mountain.

The creature spreads its wings. They don't spread like the wings of a bat, but rather the wings of a cicada, making the same sound as they rise from its back. There are four of them, each bearing a sleek, shiny coating.
