The website linked to calculate the speed of tsunamis is broken the website itself

so we should remove it or change it with another calculator
With the new Percy Jackson book released recently, The Chalice of the Gods, Percy gets a new feat in which he created and explosion of water which he states to be millions of metric tons, with him as the epicentre. I am curious as to what is the best way to go about calcing this feat. I was...
Here i got some tips that can be added in a new page for the wiki in order to help people making calculations:
https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Kudekuba/_Calculation_Tips
Please tell me if is good or not to be posted, i bet it could be helpfull for all.
Okay, so as it stands, the Calculations Guides provides some general tips to pixel-scaling, however... I feel it missed some important bits. This was a fact I realized after approving a calc, but some images wind up using lines that are very thick, like 5 pixels thick, for pixel-scaling...
The issue of consistent sizes has been bugging my mind for a long time but recently a couple of threads have made me realize that something had to be done, First I would like to propose a few things we can do to tackle this issue. This is going to be a fairly short thread.
We already give a...
How do I calculate that a character was flying and reaching Jupiter and going through it from inside, then continue until he leaves at MFTL + speed (no I don't mean KE)?
From the Calculations page:
"Sometimes even something like "time seems frozen" or that nothing moves is stated. Often this kind of statements are hyperboles. However, should that not be the case one may assume that the apparent speed of the reference object is less than or equal to 0.001 m/s."...

Summary
In this thread, I would like to ask for justification of Staff size in Naruto dodged Light Fang calculations.
Problem
Step 1
Staff: 64.25px = 0.0214m
Beam: 290.37px = 0.09671467704m
Step 2
Face: 290px = 0.214m
Staff: 64.25px = 0.04882694663m
Screen: 518px
Why does the...
Three years ago, a thread was made questioning the validity of this calc. I won't bog down on on the details of that discussion, just simply note that the final say was "The statement is too vague to truly quantify the feat since we don't see the feat being done in action but conveyed through a...
I think we should unfurl the pages on the VS Battles Wiki regarding the guide(s) and instructions for calculations.
So, while coming across some blogs made yet regarding adding more to the References for Common Feats page, I found several that hold instructions on how to perform certain types...
So here I have a little argument with @GreatIskandar14045 and @TheLastStylebender.
@TheLastStylebender disagree with the column made of reinforced concrete.
@GreatIskandar14045 disagree with the column got pulverized and how I use the destruction value of reinforced concrete then multiply it...
Ok, so I noticed that, for calculationg the weight of buildings, we account for hollowness acknowledging that the structure is partially empty; however people do not seems to agree with an actual percentage relationship, few calcs uses 80% like these two, mienwhile other uses 90% like these...
So I was thinking, are we allowed to find an average between a low end and a high end of a calc?
For example, I make a calc with a low end of 0.25 tons, a mid end of 5 tons and a high end of 9 tons. The average of all those yields would be (0.25+5+9)/3 = 4.75 tons.
Can we do this, if not, why?
Hi there, i'm new to calculation stuff so i wanna ask on how to calc these feat:
1. A bandit was able to throw 10kg javelins up to ten of meters away.
2. A character was able to melt entire city block and set entire plaza on fire.
I finally got off my ass to make this thing I'd had in the back of my mind for months. TLDR, skull crushing isn't 9-B and FTE isn't (necessarily) subsonic.
Skull Crushing
The old Xcano calc is bad, and Xcano himself disavowed it. The problem with it is that it treats the skull as just a cube...
So, in a particular group, where we also do Powerscaling, the standard pulverization feats, which we use from both here, and other Wikis which seems to agree on the method, got confronted by supposedly far more accurate way to calculate said feats involving pulverization.
This is the source for...
Hi guys, I agree with everything what is written in the calculation page, but I can't understand, why is someone gives level for the physical overpowering any kind of character, who can generate hurricanes, storms, thunders with his magic or whatever. How does this shit work? Please explain this...
This is the official thread for requesting calcs to be done by the members of the Calc Group and other senior editors.
However, this help is entirely optional, and the people who do the requesting cannot expect that anybody will somehow be automatically interested in doing the requested calcs...

As topic. Assorted lifting strength discussion thread.
Featured topics:
1. Does throwing objects at a speed generate more lifting strength than just lifting it up Olympic weight lifting style? Can a higher value of lifting strength be deduced from throwing an object at a smaller mass? Say...

By assuming a typical human field of view it allows one to estimate the size of an object if one knows the distance from the point of view or estimate the distance to the point of view if one knows the size of the object.
~ Angular Size
My question is, why are we saying a typical...
I have a question as to how one gets an answer with the final formula on the late G[http:// https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User:Gwynbleiddd wynbleiddd's] Blog with Center of Mass :
$ W=Gm^2(1/ri-1/rf) $
I tried doing the formula to see if I can get the same answer as he did but I get...
We have our rules in this page that the relativistic kinetic energy diverges towards infinity for speeds approaching the speed of light. So to not get inflated extremely high results:
Kinetic energy calculated for faster than light objects, or more precise for objects for which...

As the title suggests, this thread is for requesting feats to be calculated or evaluated for the References for Common Feats page.
I know this was discussed a while ago, but here is a list that I think can meet a certain criteria for real Black Holes:
Black holes cannot be destroyed with brute force, because they will simply absorb all energy/matter thrown at them, and grow larger, nor can they be physically interacted...
I wish to know what the the rotational energy of the galaxy is,
I know that the mass is 2.9833800017169e+42 kg (with Dark Matter included)
and the angular velocity is 0.000000000000001 rad/s
I was hoping that anyone have any links or formulas that would best calculate both the moment of...
Hello again. This is where I have to show my Father Mathematica's work after doing 4 plausible equations. These equations you'll about to witness is to show Aiwhen (Wonderful World) isn't merely Aim-Dodging, but rather, should, theoretically, be fast enough to react to such Lightbeams; BTW: such...
It seems that the regular KE formula KE = 1/2mV^2 Ðüð░n not be used in case of expanding clouds (or any expanding mass for that matter)
The reason for this is that not every piece to cloud travels the same distance in the given timeframe. Clouds near the center of a storm need to travel a...
As I was still trying to do a Calc my own way; much to the dismay of most, I've decided on several key rules to ensure nothing bad could happen (Someone already gave the Green Light for the Light Beam requirements, but now I have to simplify nearly everything I written down; even if they prove...
