Everyone dunks on Knull killing Sentry, but it does make me think, what are Prime's anti-feats? No way he is perfect boy scout.

In fairness Luffy really doesn't have any good matchups, Sans is a bit to new for the guys at DB to be aware of/has no good matchups and Piccolo is complicated.
The others could be cool. Cyclopse vs Ken or 009 would be peak, Skeletor vs Zedd has some good potential for some comedy and Kong vs Kong would be cool.

I mean, streetfighter, Mortal Kombat, and Tekken are not niche franchisees, but the fact they haven’t had a single episode in the past five years is kind of insane. Like multiple of these franchisees had new games/shows/movies made, but not a single new episode on death battle? It’s just weird man.

Win or lose at least Prime was allowed to grow as a character after all these years and has begun to be a hero in his own right. Meanwhile Sentry had his character development get sent to the deepest pits of hell so he could job to Knull and now he’s gonna be stuck in the same cycle forever.

He really doesn't cause SBP is very consistently portrayed as stronger than most heralds. Not only that, but his power level does fluctuate depending on his mental state, and by Death Metal, he's grown a lot stronger since then.
It may change depending on how his current run goes but it's pretty clear that he's holding back for a vast majority of his modern appearances.
SBP and boy scout do not belong in the same sentence what.

I like the current Sentry run, and I like that the Void isn't just a generic shadow monster again, but God. Having Merged Sentry as probably the most interesting status quo they could've done for the character only to dial back again is just so jarring lmfao.

Because, ya know, Superman is called a boy scout, I made a ref to that with Prime, who is a Superman.
SentryPrime is bit dumb because its AdamApocalypse all over again. Prime blatantly has better feats with less scrunity, but DB ignores anti-feats sometimes so Sentry can get scott-free. Meanwhile Prime's weaknesses like his Armor breaking are somehow more valid to accept, so Sentry prolly can hax Prime to death. It will be bit dumb.

Eh, the armor thing hasn't been valid for a while now so I doubt DB would take that into account.
The adamapocalypse comparison thing still annoys me because SBP has actual abilities unlike the brick that is Black Adam. Plus another key difference is that Black Adam isn't really all that much stronger than Apocalypse to make up for the hax difference unlike with SBP.

Sure in that sense SBP has actually important hax compared to Adam, but in context of vs their opponents aka when compared to Sentry I get same vibes. OK elephant in room, Prime has le retcon punch. Aka basically reality warping. And isnt reality warping basically do anything thing? So Prime can do anything? But it doesnt seem like reality warping is actually given full "do anything" thing in VS talks. So we have to look at his other moves specifically.
So what does Prime have besides that? I dont know him well so I def missed something. But preliminary it looks like base Kryptonian stuff, laser eyes, ice breath etc. What else? He absorbs magic and can dimension travel, cool. But like again, compared to Sentry this doesnt seem as much. Sentry seems to have more abilities. And what, you want to count resistances? Sure but Sentry has those too. Some people say this MU depends on Sentry surviving retcon punch. And he has arguments for it. They might not be good but he has them. Which then leads to Prime needing to have resistances to Sentry's stuff. And he might not have enough?
So yes, I will compare it to AdamApocalypse because we have fighter who is unga bunga strong with specific hax but opponent might resist the hax and is comparable to unga bunga AND has more hax the former cant deal with. Sure, the stats being equal is also bad argument but again, it exists. So they can be used. And I kinda think it is realistically possible Sentry can win in DB. And because DB's caper scaling is kind of a mess lmao
