Yeah but fr, when Charles said overglorified, ig he also counted weaknesses or sth? Because stats are so wonky that everyone scales to anyone, so its not "impressive" per say. So Kyle is DESTROYS ALL OF DC but like everyone is that now. Our next time is basically that :V

To be fair, people were still pretty adamant that they got Wandatanna and PhoenixRaven wrong. Wanda was given a mental instability she didn't have anymore, total ignorance of her true resurrection powers and no mention of how she held back blasts of light from the House of Ideas, meanwhile Raven got a non-standard one-off form that she shouldn't have on top of her rank in the cosmology being wanked to high heavens.

Maybe Sentry. But that criticism doesn't exactly work for someone like SBP, with the guy he's scaling to at his peak is like quite literally a cosmology destroyer.

Alot of the stuff that people use to undermine comic characters doesn't apply to prime, his feats are as visual and clear as u can get lol.

U physically can't downplay him one tapping darkseid (with the full anti life equation) and the anti monitor who won crisis on infinite earths therefore absorbing all of DC.

Nearing 40, and there is a lot actually. As I mentioned, they could have Jodio be with his gang, have them jump in to provide benefits or extra attacks with their stands, stuff like that. Jodio himself can also still attack, and they could make it to where depending on how he positions himself in relation to his opponent, November Rain can act as a shield against projectiles with damage done if they shoot too close (as in raindrops flinging out and hitting them), or as a minigun of death.

I think you lost the plot of what I'm trying to say. ASBR literally removed part 6 content from the game at launch. Sure that content was added in later as a free update, but that was all to coincide with the anime, catering to anime only fans. And I'm saying they'll probably do it again for Part 7 reps.

Gappy had about as much or near that number and look how he was in both ASB and EOH

They didnt remove anything, they just split Pucci into White Snake only variant with new stuff, then gave us the C-Moon and Made In Heaven variant after the anime along Weather Report

Anyway what I am talking of is in general a fighting game wont cut content it had, like characters and such, also as far part 7 is at the moment, they would have to cut literally all 5 characters in it as they are spoilers to the whole thing, also the remaster literally added 2 Dio which for part 6 viewers its a spoiler, let alone part 8 with Wonder of U

I agree. The series would have been better suited to have 5 seasons.

I wouldn't say Dante was a consistent character in the original games, as he was dramatic in the first game, dark in the second, a rebellious brawler in the third, goofy in the fourth, and even more of a cartoon in the fifth. For example, it was unclear why the serious Dante from the first and second games became the Dante of the fourth. It was as if his character had been dumbed down. But I feel like the series is in trouble, as Dante is supposed to have a dark hero's arc after all these events, and Adi wants to end the series on that note, which wouldn't be in keeping with the story.

I mean, Dante has several character stages in the games. Right now, Dante has transitioned from his Part 3 character to his Part 1 and Part 2 character. All these events and the story's tone should make him dark. That would be fine if it were at least the penultimate season. But ending the story with Dante's dark image would be rather... odd.

Let's just say I mean, Dante is just beginning his serious personal growth, and the story is already coming to an end.

The games were clearly not made in chronological order, so the first two Dante was based on Leon Kennedy to a degree and got more serious after the events of the original game

Then the rest made Dante be more goofy after Itsuno took over, it makes sense in the lore if you take it in the order they take place

DMC3: Dante is obviously a teen to a young adult here, its easy to tell how someone at this age would be cocky, rebellious and all just a game, its not until much later he realizes the importance of family and everything

Also seeing Lady perspective on things, Vergil gets stuck in the demon world by his choice, Dante couldnt save him and lost his only family left

DMC1: Dante got more serious from these events as talked about, he still makes jokes and snarky remarks, but then what happens? A female demon resembling his mother on purpose by Mundus, whom killed her by ordering demons to do so, as well as having his brother become Nelo Angelo too comes into the picture

Latter he fights till he kills him in the last battle, he realizes his brother was lost, again and thats basically by killing him without knowing till after the fact, Trish played him for a fool and loses his trust in her, only to save him after getting to Mundus, watching her die, its not enough his mother sacrificed for him as kid, but Trish looking like her pull a heroic act adds up to it

DMC Anime: Dante here is getting more and more serious, takes odd jobs and protects a girl with her own family issues, you barely see him be anything like he was before in terms or being funny and all

DMC2: Dante just gets even more serious, with just a few notable lines showing about his old self when he was funnier and all and thats without bringing up the novel of the game which deals with other stuff beforehand, there was even a redhead girl iirc that gives him a kiss on the cheek and he is confused on that by his expression or puzzled

DMC4: He encounters Nero which he has a vague idea on who he is, upon meeting him, we see Dante at the start being all serious and such like we knew him, later on he begins to get goofy and all, as he figured Nero would be related to him, he decided to warm up again and he has Lady and Trish around too

DMC5: He keeps more or less the attitude from previous game, he has moments of getting serious and other times being goofy, when Vergil is back in the picture we see a back and forth on these, in the end Dante and Vergil catch up and spend time together the only way they know, fighting but this time, not by being for each other head

It make sense of the changes to his personality if you look at it this way and materials like novels and mangas further expending on this here and there in between

Which is still removing things. It doesn't matter if they were added back after part 6 finished airing, they removed content because of spoiler related reasons, that's my whole point.

JoJo is an anthology series first and foremost. Part 7 and 8 spoilers aren't going to be looked at as spoilers for part 6 watchers, which the remaster was catering to.
