ye ngl I know little about either series, but something about the animation and result kinda rubbed me the wrong way. 5.5/10, only slightly higher than MetalCell IMHO.

9/10 episode, thought it was great. I think scaling Denji to the Oregon Sword was some bullshit and that's kinda got me soured, but the fight itself was great and I loved how the abilities were applied. Howeeever...

Sorta. They're saying that Yoru's State sword is whatever Gigatons and Denji-man was able to match it's swings and overpower it. So even if the blade cuts him in half, his AP still scales to that rating.

The animation was a 9/10 even if I preferred if MORØ animated it, it was still amazing. Yuji’s analysis still felt somewhat lacking while Denji’s was as complete as it could get.
I lost $25 on a bet with my brother over this so I am kinda miffed. Went all in on Yuji but as Denji’s analysis went on I had a sinking feeling of “fffffffuuuuuuuck” when no relativistic scaling was brought up for Yuji and Denji’s scaling seemed to counter all of Yuji’s wincons. This is Blade VS Buffy all over again

I believe it was the transition to Shonen Jump+. He completely stopped drawing intro spreads like this and his art gradually declined. It was even better than Part 1 in early Part 2, but then over time it began to fall apart.
He is still good with those cover panels though and from time to time he'll shell out some neat panels.
