Unfortunately because of the legal battle this character and his franchise had ever since the F13 game shutdown, they cant do much about it, take it or leave it at this point

You know what else its hard to get the license now? Pennywise and his author expressed he aint liking games at all either, so yeah, be happy with what you can get legally

I'd wager Superboy Prime given that Sentry is meant to be an unstable take on Superman, and Prime'd be the right candidate since he's also an unstable Superman.

The big question I have though is who wins? Sentry has incredibly blatant and consistent scaling that puts him at Thor or above levels of power, but Superboy Prime also scales to The Darkest Knight, who has DC cosmology level scaling to him. So this might end up being an extremely close match up that can go either way, honestly.

Yeah, that seems to make sense with this site. Is not just 1-A CRT, usually other not know verses upgrades are hard to pass.

Not sure how I feeling that almost anyone revelant in Touhou is getting to outer, but eh. Most of their matchups they already Win without that scaling, so It don't change anything anyway. They just stomp harder.

Pretty much. Several key researchers from over the years seem to have disappeared from the internet entirely, too. As have many of the Outer consultants here. And people generally don't want to bother reading an in-depth explanation on anything, though that doesn't stop some from casting incredulity, anyway.

Although not as many characters scale to Outer as you may think; that Q&A gets into some detail. I do think the topic of who is true Outer and who is a lower tier but has smurf hax should be further explored. But there are some that, with transformative states/equipment and when not playing nice with Spell Card Rules and other in-setting balancing, are up there. All the low and mid tiers & some of the 2-Cs (who may need a different justification to another feat since some scale to the likes of Doremy who should be way higher) would retain roughly the same stats, though. And I don't think there's common smurfing except for maybe immortality/regen for youkai being so intrinsically tied to the cosmology (and even then they have weaknesses). So we wouldn't have 1-A Cirno the Ice Fairy running around.

Superboy probably actually knows who Sentry is which also an interesting element of this matchup

MEH. Presuming you mean Prime, he has actually good matchups so picking Sentre is just lazy.

Sentry is really just not that thematic unless you use the stupid surface level "eViL sUpErMaN" connection.
 
I feel like both Prime and Sentry have better options but this MU's still neat

Also this'll be the third match in a row that could go either way instead of being a straightforward blowout (Grumind --> Yuji/Denji --> Prime/Sentry)

G1 blog had kinda easy with the matchups this years, les't see If they get right.this one. They both herald, If I not mistaking.

Akaik Prime's main gimmick is his Reality Warping punches. I'm pretty sure there are interesting things the animation can use it for.

Is it really that close? I always thought that Superboy Prime was just busted as hell with his narrative-altering punches and such. I know Sentry is pretty damn strong but I don't think he's shown powers on that kind of level.

Granted I am nowhere near as informed about either of them, but that's just what I've gathered from cultural osmosis.

And Sentry has a variety of powers, MCU shown a little of them in the thunderbolts movie, plus if they count the void, thats gonna make it more interesting
