You say this as if GOKU of all people isn't going 0-3 against the same opponent. I doubt they really care if CSM loses again.

Well Goku fought Superman 3 times so it's different it's like trying to fight Gojo as a regular Human 0-3. Though I doubt Denji is losing anyway if they let him become Denjiman because at that point not only does he speed blitz he now has the power to kill him too without issue. Trust me the speed gap is huge. People need to grasp speed gaps again. We equalize speed between too many fighters so now people start to undermine it. It's insane.

I honestly have to look high here lol. Despite the odds and the more favorable chances that Yuji might win, it is still close enough that I feel excitement when I think about it, like there is a chance Denji can win despite said odds. And considering I have a personal liking for both of these characters, this might as well be my most anticipated death battle yet. There's a lot of team Yuji out there, so I gotta shed some sunshine for Team Denji too.

But fr, last year had unusual good consistent quality. IchigoYusuke and BakugoReze while good/fine, are not quite at level of last year. And even CellMetal has some detractors here. So 1/3 of eps being notably worse, is maybe alarming.

Hell, lets look at 4 worst eps of last year:

  • MasterchiefDoomslayer
  • MilesDeku
(I think these are 4 worst of last year ig). Compare these 4 to current batch we have so far... yeah thats actually much lower in quality unfortunately. I didnt even think about it before.

Eh, I feel it's a bit too early to judge. Like you said, we don't know how the other episodes this year will go so I want to hold my judgement on how good 2026 will be overall after all the matches are done so I can compare them.
