DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

ye

s I can.

Dabura's feat was accepted for himself and what was rejected was scaling other characters to that exact feat. The reason is that "Dabura is treated as Sukuna level" is too vague. Being a similar threat does not automatically mean identical AP, durability, speed or K.E. (stats in general), It could just refer to overall danger in their abilities, hax and such. To scale others they would need direct proof that they can tank / clash with that specific near light movement feat. Since the evidence was mostly a broad narrative comparison, the backscaling was rejected.
didnt yuji say he could handle dabura if yuka failed

In the thread people brought this up as supporting evidence but the counterargument was that "handle" is too vague and does not prove direct scaling since Yuji may not have witnessed the full feat, may have only known Dabura's general threat level and could have been relying on other win cons like his domain or blood manip. So it was not treated as enough to scale him or the other god tiers to the K.E. feat.
i personally buy the soul stuff cause verse equalization plus angel devil shenanigans and devil reincanration
For this I can reffer you to my response to Peter who had a similar take. If you still wanna discuss it, lmk.

I explained it right above you.

As Eden says though, knowing DB they'll likely be using this anyways despite being shaky. But Denji has similar scaling metas (which are also shaky), so it will be close.

Im not debating you on this topic and this particular death battle anymore. I made that clear. Anyway, I wonder whose researching each character. Im even more curious since they said that its one person per character.

I was not reopening the debate. I was answering why that scaling was not accepted on the wiki.

If Yuji vs Denji is being discussed and Dabura scaling is brought up as relevant evidence, then it is fair for me to explain why that scaling is shaky or rejected. That is not me forcing a debate but just me responding to a point that was introduced. If you do not want to continue debating that topic, that is completely fine, but then the scaling point should probably be left alone rather than brought up without allowing a response.

Anyway, Idk if this was brought up, but apparently, jjk and gachiakuta are in the marvel onimverse lmao

I was told earlier JJK is due to that T pose highlighted in the circle, but what implies that anime about trash gachiakuta is the one they imply? The location? The imagery?
'Sentient trash' describes the trash beasts to a T, 'the ground' is where the protag is sent after the first chapter and the main location of focus of the entire story, and the panel is basically the trash pile that Rudo ends up in when he's first dropped. The only difference is that it's raining.

Grumind gets worse and worse.

The Megacopers are contesting the Mach 0.5 speed, claiming it's real lightning and not electricity. The clip they showed it is indeed electricity, but Megamid had other showings of dodging lightning attacks and that's why people are upset that such 'feats' were omitted.
For some reason, it won't play the audio for me, so am I allowed to ask what they're saying?
Ben said that the people who are complaining the most "don't watch the ******* show" and that they made it clear Gru wins because he's faster and wins the quick draw in the episode. But it's not the reason why people are contesting the verdict, it's the "mach 0.5" feat and the omission of so much Megamind stuff.

Being real Indie DB been more consistent on its quality despite a few stinkers but this year it feels like the issues are getting hard to ignore
Tbf I feel like MegaGru is the only truly "bad" episode this year? MetalCell is still great, and BakuReze and Ichisuke are still both pretty decent though not too mind blowing.
