Nah lol the timeframe for this is so ass it deadass might be Moon level at max. Visually speaking, the timeframe for the comic version is a lot faster. Like in the comic, by the time they exit the planet, the surface was still barely ****** up yet as opposed to the show.
I get they dragged for dramatic effect, but it really did feel too dragged out at times ngl.

On the upside, the upscale they gave to Thragg is kinda nasty bro, gave this man airbending to his wind up punches that could suck in Nolan mind you, impact frames from his hairline and Mark couldn't even draw a single drop of blood from him, unlike the comic. Got me crine lmfao.

Ngl, while I don't prefer it over most Avatar MU's (I would take any of Azula MU's and Korra Vs Rey over it), I don't really mind Aang vs Traveler. From what I've seen, the connections are there, and Aang getting a modern runback is cool. I feel like it has around the same potential as Bakugo vs Reze to be a solid 7/10 fight.
The only thing I'm dreading is the waiting period. Calling it now, it's gonna be in the bottom 3 of all time.

I'm genuinely surprised that people are surprised by this. I thought it was incredibly obvious that it doesn't matter how thematic a matchup is if the fight potential is garbage. Reminded of the pitch video for Wonder of U vs SCP-096 and how the pitcher couldn't really give a good example of how the fight would go that wasn't just "096 tries to run at Tooru for 95% of the fight and they only interact for the last 5%". No shade to the guy who pitched the matchup but how the fight would actually look really should've crossed his mind before he began the pitch.
I've mentioned it before but it's also why we are NEVER getting any Pokemon trainer matchup that isn't against another summoner type character. You think the crew are gonna animate a fight that's either a 6v1 or six back to back 1v1s (both scenarios requiring 5 of the Pokemon to be swiftly defeated so the Ace can get the focus) while the trainer just sits back the entire fight until the very end while their opponent carries the entire fight choreography? Be real.
