Because what's there to talk about? Unless DB giga wanks Reze and hyper downplays Bakugo, we all know how this episode's going to end. The results are as obvious as Ruby vs Maka was last year.

And I don't want to knock back against the people that worked on this episode, I'm sure they put a lot of time and effort into it, but it's hard for me to really give a shit about something that I don't care about and know the results of.

Final predictions before the ep drops. Bakugo is gonna win, and Reze's only category is gonna be like regen/endurance or something. Bakugo's gonna lose an arm, and Reze gets killed either by a Howitzer Impact or by Bakugo holding her and blowing her up like how she did Denji. Betting on Grumind for like the 5th ep in a row for the next time, I can also see it being a Mario MU to tie in with the movie. Also betting on next time being a Moro ep or hand-drawn.

Really like headless Reze charging at Bakugō, them incorporating her weakness to moisture, here disguising herself as a civilian, and Bakugō to combust her internally

Pretty solid episode, but am I the only one who feels nothing but mind numbing apathy towards it? I mean it was nicely animated and the VAs did a good job as Bakugo and Reze, but I just don't feel anything. Nothing or positive or negative, something that happened and will be forgotten in the future.

And I'm the same guy who unironically likes shit like Asura vs Kratos so that's saying something.

Fresh off the first watch; EP was good but not outstanding like I predicted. Run-downs and conclusion were fine (I don't buy the gun devil scaling tho). Animation was fun, didn't expect the long hand-drawn scene (Bakugo is so lucky fr fr) or the 3D bits, but they were cool. The banter was better than I expected, the music sounded good, and the kill was cool. Overall, a solid 7/10 like Ichigo VS Yusuke.

Grumind next time tho... My goat Megamind bout to sweep that boy Gru trust.
