Death Battle needs to convey complicated pseudo science to a casual audience. The difference between infinite and immeasurable speed is not only something power scaling made up, its not something that can be explained in a timely understandable manner.

Like trust me, take the win, Death Battle still hasn't fully corrected the Saiyan Beyond God shit but they've stopped bringing it up so thats a dub in my book lmao

From what I understand, infinite speed means moving across a measured distance in an instance, and immeasurable speed is moving through time itself

If I might be allowed to nitpick a little about Metal Sonic vs Cell: I wish that DB would've not mentioned the Stalactite feat from the OVA and used, in my opinion, better scaling for Base Metal. Like I understand that completely that Universal and above scaling for Base Sonic characters isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think at the bare minimum Metal Sonic and Neo Metal Sonic should scale to or above the Final Egg Blaster just given the fact Eggman's created machines that have been stated to be his most powerful creations yet (which includes the FEB) and Metal scales above them.

Of course it's ultimately irrelevant because Death Battle said Metal Overlord and Super Neo Metal Sonic were much stronger than Cell, but I think there's better scaling to give Base Metal and Neo then OVA shit and moving continents with the Chaos Emeralds.

Actually I do have to wonder why the OVA is mentioned at all in these sorts of things, isn't it non-canon with its own screwed up planet and world?

And I mean it also straight up makes Eggman a pedophile sooooo

It was never canon... idk why they always seem to mention it everytime there's a Sonic fight

That's not TFS fault, it is a matter of simple comprehension that vocal fans lack who can't grasp what a parody is despite DBZA putting it out there frame 1 that "The following is a non-profit fan based parody"

They mentioned Frieza's explosion on Namek was hundreds of light-years wide and lit up the galaxy, and they mentioned Cell was hundreds of times stronger than him at that point. The said this about 5 minutes into the episode.

They capped Cell at 4-A via that fraud feat and Garlic Jr, the latter which is much more higher anyway. Via multipliers he would cap at 3-C

Elder Moori stated this and phrased it as something relatively immeadiate. Namekians can live like 500 years, so Cell can't live any longer than that so it would have to be within that time frame, which is like multi-galaxy
 
Toei has a pretty blatant infinite universe so on VSBW Cell gets high uni due to threatening an infinite structure in a finite time.

Death Battle more than likely danced around that because infinite uni for Super is for some reason controversial so I guess they think it would create uncomfortable upscaling implications

Personally I dont have that strong of a stance since the Hit feat is textbook immeasurable and DBS has higher D metas, so infinite uni doesn't do anything in the grand scheme of things
