Based on some of the text I read, seems like he might go back in for a 3rd round (which, if true, would be real funny if he went 0-3)

Blackbeard might've yoinked his body, but I feel that'd be a heavily nerfed Obito and now the Espada know how his intangibility gimmick works now.

Truth be told I'm way more interested in the team's rationale behind whatever verdict they get, because this fight is giving everyone things that's not normally considered for a normal vs debate.

Also small point that I might have missed since it's been forever since I've read Bleach, but I think that Barragan's axe should've vanished along with his body since it's tied to him and such. Like obviously they've already admitted they're adding in fanon along with their writing but I feel like that shouldn't have been around for them to snag. Still cool moment though.

After looking into it myself I find the 8D really weak, but the 6D is decent

There are decent DBS high end 6D metas, but nobody ever gives Dragon Ball its high end scaling.

So that one is up in the air, although I've heard the death battle discord is clamoring for the episode now because there is a chance Gohan could lose

I think giving Silver his super form was fine.

Trunks VS Silver downplayed Trunks into oblivion and wanked Silver and was very obviously a copout to give Sonic a win
Frieza VS Megatron glazed the loser way too much and had a terrible fight regardless because DevilArtemis episode
Ash VS Yugi just straight up lied about Ash to make it seem like Yugi shitstomped Ash instead of the opposite
Red VS Tai's postfight analysis and also the entire fight were also bottom tier shit

On my Xeno JRPG VS charts, I have Citan Uzuki vs Kisuke Urahara. I may have dropped Bleach about 2/3rds through, but I think I watched enough for that MU to give my mind something to chew on.

• Citan Uzuki vs Kisuke Urahara - for those who know, this should be relatively obvious, but for those who don't, both are semi-aloof country Samurai (I know that's not really a term, but you know what I mean) who take an interest in the MCs for their alter egos or latent power, whilst being former workers for the central body that comprises their verse (Citan being ex-Gebler/Solaris, and a former Element, whilst spending the 'current day' attempting to help Fei out with Id, and Kisuke being the 12th Division's Captain, whilst spending non-flashback episodes helping Ichigo tame the Hollow/White within him). I find it fun how Citan also just tinkers with machines in his home with Yui, whilst Kisuke runs that shop for spirit beings etc..

Everyone just parrots the Death Battle now and it’s unimaginably rarted every time.

Obviously if we were just going by games, Digivolution doesn’t actually make your monsters like 8x stronger or whatever in stats. If we applied the same logic to Pokemon as we do Digimon (I’ve literally had Digimon fans tell me that Mega Evolution is a 1.3x multiplier), multiple Pokémon are just 3 of themselves combined like Magneton or Dugtrio, so even the most basic evolutions are at least a 3x multiplier, which they would evolve twice so it’s 9x stronger.

Of course that hardly matter anyways since Mega Evolution/Dynamax is officially either a 5x or 10x boost and Pokemon who train hard enough can attain that level of growth naturally.

I know Kenpachi vs Asura was a thing for a while before KratoSura eclipsed it. OMM also had their running "Kenpachi vs Akuma/Oni" which while I know OMM isn't known for doing research and is just hype moments and aura animations, having Kenny not win a single one of those fights is highly laughable. Even less popularly had Kenpachi vs Mihawk for the 'strongest vs strongest swordsman' kind of debates.
