I just thought about it, and I think this year's pitch match turned real DB is going to be Doctor Doom vs. Vecna; it makes the most sense. Doom is the main villain of the next Avengers movie, and Vecna is well-known (for better or worse) thanks to Stranger Things. So view-wise, it would do well, and I'm pretty sure they liked it as well.

Stranger Things is one big stealth D&D advertisement, the entire story revolves heavily around D&D and Vecna, The Mind Flayer, and The Demogorgon are all enemies that originate from D&D

I don’t watch ST but from what I’ve gathered it’s not actually Vecna. All the D&D terms for the monsters are given to them by the main cast who are nerds. Same goes for the Demogorgan and Mind Flayer.

For a super lowballed Dragon Ball moment, there is one thing that comes to my mind.
King Piccolo said he was going to destroy Earth and its people one area by time. Eventually killing everyone in 42 years. Would this count as 1/42th of surface wiping Earth? Or 1/42th of planet busting? Kinda curious cause this might be one of better non-Roshi moon feats in early DB.

My best guess on the pitched fight is that it’s either Doom vs Vecna or Aku vs the Lich. Both were presented very well and they seemed to like the pitches. Plus all four characters are popular and Vecna’s lesser popularity would be carried by Doom being an A lister. A possible third option is Toru vs SCP 096 but Ben did being up the difficulties of actually animating the fight which the pitcher couldn’t really answer despite them actually enjoying the pitch.
