*Evil light-themed parent who wants to merge all universes together to create a new one where the beings they serve rule supreme, and attempt to do so in the end by physically fusing with the strongest member of those beings
*Spend a good chunk of their journey fighting a woman with the same powers who focuses heavily on swordplay and raw combat skill in contrast to their versatile fighting style. These women turn out to be their sisters (Figuratively for bayo, literally for Ryuko) who turn on the evil parent in the end and help kill them.
*Years after their story ended they got a new game that made them multiversal constants with the power to alter causality

Triggerverse scaling through Space Patrol Luluco, which established that all works made by Trigger share the same multiverse, so when Ragyo was going to collapse the entire multiverse, it would include the cosmological stuff from Gurren Lagann

I...just explained it though? Kill La Kill and Guren Lagann are the same multiverse as established by Luluco, and thus share the same cosmology. Ragyo had the power to collapse all of reality into one bulk universe, as well as Life Fibers transcending space time across the multiverse as a whole, would net Ryuko scaling to the cosmology stuff from Gurren Lagann.
