To be fair, Yugi was pretty sick in that episode, Atem didn't step in and the opponent were playing on a 3 on 1 against him. And I think one of the girls he was dueling had been pretending the episode that she wanted to be his friend only to steal a super strong card Yugi had, which she actually did.

I don't have much of a stance on who wins so far, since I don't really scale the Pokemon or YGO anime to really give my input on the arguments, but as convincing the pro Yugi arguments may sound, I wouldn't give up on Ash really. Death Battle has always been unpredictable and upsets are always a possibility. Remember Discord vs Bill Cypher, Bardock vs Omniman and to an extent Dante vs Clive from recent times alone.

Because you're VERY confident in your research... despite how flawed it may be. Like, real talk, I know nothing about calcs or anything like that, and I've never seen Soul Eater and stopped watching RWBY after they stopped uploading to Youtube in favor of RT's broken website. But I think it says a lot that you were not only advocating for Ruby to beat Maka despite LITERALLY EVERYBODY ELSE saying she got stomped, but were even willing to bet money on the DB team agreeing with you on it. Like, I don't know if I should admire your commitment (especially given you've outright admitted that you hate RWBY with a fiery passion), or be concerned that you might be taking a simple online debate a little TOO seriously.
Though again, I know nothing about calcs or scaling or anything of the sort. I just buy this wiki's stats because people here know better than me, even if I don't exactly agree with some of it (heck, I'm not even sure I buy Maka getting Fire Force scaling, seems like something only the top tiers in the verse should get), so... maybe I shouldn't be involved in these sorts of discussions. At the end of the day, I just wanna see if the episode is good or not, or if I even care for the Next Time, as admittedly its been awhile since they've done an MU I was interested in. Feel free to ignore me if you want, I'm just along for the ride at this point.

Really, not just being confident on your research, you somehow trought Death Battle of all people would agree with you, when they—of course—would not. Considering the vast majority of people put Maka>Ruby, you thinking Death Battle gonna use a different logic is still surprising.

I am confident in my research yes, I ensure that every argument I have is backed by an excessive amount of scans and calcs, as well as presenting the entire chapter (in some cases multiple entire chapters) so people have full context for everything I'm arguing. Thus far no one who has made arguments for Maka winning has actually been able to do so without directly contradicting the source material of Soul Eater.
Yes, and that's why I'm working on a verse-wide soul eater revision and rwby revision to put them at the tiers and stats they should be. And yes, Maka with her outside amps via Chain Resonance and spirit does get scaling to fire force, but that in and of itself presents a problem with your logic. Maka's country level scaling they gave her comes from her being scaled to the top tiers (even though she very much should not on her own).
