Unrelated but out of morbid curiosity, I switched off my ad blocker and ended up with so much AI slop (NFT 2nd coming tbh) from games to finding my "soul mate" lol!

OPM Vs NNT in animation
Honestly it's hilarious there's legit debates on which one is worse, OPMs moving pngs and giving Royal Ripper boobs are certainly a choice to be sure on top of the padding while key lines and moments in the webcomic/manga are cut but characters bleeding "milk" in NNT (due to censorship) while Escanor Vs Mel got completely butchered to the point that most people only remember that awkward shot of an unconscious Mel, is infamous (doesn't help the NNT mobile gacha actually had better, cleaner and more fluid animation for Escanor Vs Mel).

Overall OPM is worst imo, simply due to all the context behind it from waiting years for S3 to Bandai Namco pulling a DBS and giving the animators 6 months but for the entire season instead of the first few episodes and ofc the head animator getting scapegoated.

Edit: Dante Vs Clive finally hit 1 million views.

What is the context here?
I posted the full movie for a reason

The Pyramid of Light made all of the monsters in the duel fully real, so they used the effect of Blue Eyes Shining Dragon, which allows it to destroy any one monster, to defeat the big bad of the movie

Tbf though they announced a S3 in like 2022 or so, with no studio or anything announced, 3 years of silence and no info again and then suddenly JCSTAFF is given the project, a studio notorious for taking too many animes to make and resulting in eh animation or rushing things at times

OPM S2 wasnt the only anime in 2018 and beyond to be a victim of okayish animation and all that from them

Tho point is, Namco waited on a studio to take their chance at S3, literally nobody in 3 years had any interest at all? Especially the big studios? This just ended up in them rushing it to the same studio with barely any team members from them left to help further, the director career was tarnished also as a result

Sucks it took 1 week to get there despite being a Torrian episode

Ben did actually state some rules in the fireside chat
AshYugi Notes:
● Aiming to create a situation where Ash will have all his Pokémon and Yugi will have all of his deck without giving a lot of benfit of the doubt as possible
● Focus will be on Ash and Yugi, not the Pokémon games or Yu-Gi-Oh! Card game.
Focus will be on anything Ash or Yugi have appeared in (Anime, Manga, etc.)-Although the games can be used as supporting evidence, but not the main focus.
● Yugi's monsters will be real so that they can interact with Ash's Pokémon (How they are wasn't mentioned)

Would be funny if they exchanged the Obvious effects like "Destroy an opponents monster" for just a vague, "it's an attacking spell that hits the opponent with whatever appears in the card's illustration".
Like, Raigeki is just an AOE lightning attack with Slifer's AP, Mirror force is just baseline attack reflection, Dark Hole is a black hole, Monster abilities that insta destroy other monsters are just vaguely stronger attacks over what they scale from. Etc.

So what the **** are Ash's win-cons?
Snivy

Other than that, not much. Even with creation trio scaling ash doesn't reach yugi's level of power. He downscales from the trio, the only one who even gets somewhat close to them in scaling is solgaleo, while yugi scales directly to and above the Egyptian Gods who have comparable or superior feats to the trio.

Going by the clip I just posted they'd have no reason to do this, the effects are literal

Besides the 12 dimensions thing, which feats does Yugi and those who he compares to have that are at least 3-A to above?

How the **** are they even gonna animate this matchup? The Scarlet King isn't exactly like 628 or other normal SCPs that have at least a vaguely agreed upon design.
They don't really do full animations, mostly just narrated scripts with accompanying art

The SK does have quite a few depictions though so they can just pick one and run with it, or lean into the fact that all of its depictions are avatars and have a bunch show up

In Bonds Beyond Time it was revealed that the Human Dimension is comprised of an infinite number of universes each with an infinite number of timelines, ie. The 12 dimensions thing is a 2-A/Low 1-C feat.

And then you have the afterlife being a higher dimensional plane of existence that humans can tap into through their collective consciousness which is how Duel Links function

do you have the scan of it if i might ask for the human dimension?

What?
Does the movie Bonds Beyond Time mention this feat, why I don't remember it at all, can you provide a scan source if you can?

And that feat is sourced from DSOD Guide, not from Bonds Beyond Time.

DeepL Translated:
-[Multiverse Theory]
The opening scene is an image of the “Multiverse Theory” - the idea that there are an infinite number of universes other than the one we are in, that there is another you in another universe, and that both those universes and you are infinite. The image of this video is based on the idea of multiverse theory. I wanted to make the title “THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS” (DIMENSIONS) sound like “Yu-Gi-Oh,” as if the universe was born out of “light and darkness,” and furthermore, as if they were the birth of life. It is also a message that the universe did not start from a single card (laugh).
And where does “The human dimension consists of an infinite number of universes, each with an infinite number of timelines” come from, the guide only purely mentions that the light creates an infinite number of universes at the beginning of the movie to make up the Multiverse. But it doesn't say that there are an infinite number of timelines for universes, or that these universes are contained by human dimensions. These remain to be researched.
By the way I think the YGO anime timeline's feat and the YGO manga timeline's feat should be distinguished separately.
