I think one advantage that Yugi has is that he has a lot more cards that can make an impact compared to how many of Ash's pokemon are actually going to matter. Sorry for those Palpitoad fans but he's not gonna be mattering in the fight.

Ehh, I think both have equal amount of Pokémon and Cards that matter tbf, Ash doesn't necessarily need a Pokémons stats to win, just their abilities and hax and the same goes for Yugi.

If this was 6 mon Team, Id pick Pikachu, Charizard, Greninja, Solgaleo, Lucario and Gengar. Heavy hitters and best hax.

But how many have any real hax that matter? The only one people ever bring up is Gengar because it's the only one that poses any actual threat. People make jokes about Snivy using attract but it doesn't have the stats to survive against even the mid tier cards that Yugi has. Same goes for something like Mr. Mime.
