Soul Edge has dura neg too, dont act like its anything specialTen times planet level from a planet already bigger than our earth by a fair amount plus the funny thing called "Frostmourne". What happens, pray tell, when a dura neg sword impacts a sword that the other guy needs to live?
Ah yes dura neg that's... not "**** you I go through all defenses", and is instead based on the soul IIRC. So Frostmourne clears.Soul Edge has dura neg too, dont act like its anything special
With creation, so...Also he is still planet level, Inferno/Soul Edge scales far above these levels
You clearly dont know anything of Soul Calibur if you claim this, the blade can slice space, as shown in SC5Ah yes dura neg that's... not "**** you I go through all defenses", and is instead based on the soul IIRC. So Frostmourne clears.
And? Its still a world created from him, let alone stated the raw power of the place creates and destroys worlds, your guy gets stomped in AP that isnt a debate thereWith creation, so...
Something it clearly almost never shows enough for it to not be called an active ability instead of a passive. You clearly dont know anything of Soul Calibur if you claim this, the blade can slice space, as shown in SC5
So what you're saying is, you don't have a proper UES beyond Planet level, right? And? Its still a world created from him, let alone stated the raw power of the place creates and destroys worlds, your guy gets stomped in AP that isnt a debate there
Sounds like a bunch of excuses to downplay for no reason, thats your only argument? That there isnt enough showings, by your logic jojo abilities that were shown once dont count now?Something it clearly almost never shows enough for it to not be called an active ability instead of a passive.
So a series themed around souls giving power, especially with characters charging theirs to improve themselves is according to your clueless head nothing, typical of youSo what you're saying is, you don't have a proper UES beyond Planet level, right?
If Soul Edge cuts through space once, and hadn't done that before or since, then it's probably not an ability that's always on. If you want to claim otherwise, make it a consistent thing it does instead of something it literally did once. Spatial manip needs to proof to dura neg anyways...Sounds like a bunch of excuses to downplay for no reason, thats your only argument? Which doesn't meet UES requirementsSo a series themed around souls giving power, especially with characters charging theirs to improve themselves is according to your clueless head nothing, typical of you
Funny how any debate with you ends in hostility, huh BD?Your buddy gets stomped in AP, funny how you argue your character winning against another with literally no knowledge on them, dont engage in stuff you have no idea about and headcanon just to make it sound as if you are in the right
Vergil blade cuts space too, Sukuna has a power to slice space too and are clearly dura neg stuff across fiction, but go on yapping its not, also since when? You dont resist spatial cutting with durability lolIf Soul Edge cuts through space once, and hadn't done that before or since, then it's probably not an ability that's always on. Claiming all that yet as far as i see that was accepted on profiles, you dont know Soul Calibur and you decide to throw your opinion at it, the soul in the series is their UES but keep claiming things made up from youWhich doesn't meet UES requirements
Funny how any debate with you ends in hostility, huh BD?
Yeah, Vergil's blade cuts space every time we see it do things. And Sukuna's is explicitly dura neg. Ya kinda need proof, not assumptions.Vergil blade cuts space too, Sukuna has a power to slice space too and are clearly dura neg stuff across fiction, but go on yapping its not, also since when?
Good thing spatial manipulation is a resistance Arthas has, huh?You dont resist spatial cutting with durability lol
I'm not saying it doesn't have the ability, I'm saying it doesn't cut space every single slash it does, because we don't have proof it does. Also something even if done once doesnt meant its discounted cuz you say so either
If you don't like other people having their own opinions on scaling... tough. In the meantime, fix those dogshit profiles please, becuase they are in their 2010s state.Claiming all that yet as far as i see that was accepted on profiles, you dont know Soul Calibur and you decide to throw your opinion at it, the soul in the series is their UES but keep claiming things made up from you
My question, BD, is how many MK profiles you've reworked. Because you do a lot of talking, but not a lot of working, and I'm not even particularly involved in MK.Funny how each time i seen you argue something on a series you barely know is outright worthy of a facepalm upon being witnessed such as Mortal Kombat, stick to your wow, starcraft and such
Don't know man, in this post alone you're pretty hostile! Like, I don't see anything befitting a warning, but...Also hostility is if i called you up something, drop this card you try to pull here

I always listen to Bob Ross when I need to calm down, and like to shoot his videos at othersim currently listening to this video, good stuff
To be fair, shattering Soul Edge doesn't actually kill him. Hell, Nightmare didn't even have it for the entirety of Soul Calibur 3 until the end of the game since Abyss kind of just summons it and yeets it at him for some reason.Ten times planet level from a planet already bigger than our earth by a fair amount plus the funny thing called "Frostmourne". Well Frostmourne sucks, seals, BFRs, and splits souls, so either way the sword does it's thing. To be fair, shattering Soul Edge doesn't actually kill him. Ever since when does space slicing/cutting or the like needs evidence it negates somebody durability, its damaging something that is fundamentally a concept, this such an absurd thing to remotely ask to begin with, unless a series believes you physically tank it thats not how it works as you claim itYeah, Vergil's blade cuts space every time we see it do things. And Sukuna's is explicitly dura neg. Ya kinda need proof, not assumptions.
I dont need you to tell what to do, i have irl stuff let alone other ones to go over besides itIf you don't like other people having their own opinions on scaling... tough. In the meantime, fix those dogshit profiles please, becuase they are in their 2010s state.
Mhm sure, back when the verse wasnt so dead both here and in general nowadays, you got yourself involved by supporting the tier 9/8 cast bullshitMy question, BD, is how many MK profiles you've reworked. I went from bottom to top in my responses so see the very next thing I say, don't feel like having this argument with youEver since when does space slicing/cutting or the like needs evidence it negates somebody durability, its damaging something that is fundamentally a concept, this such an absurd thing to remotely ask to begin with, unless a series believes you physically tank it thats not how it works as you claim it
Then focus on your IRL stuff, like jeez put down the hobby for a bit, make some hot dogs, make some ice cream or somethin'!I dont need you to tell what to do, i have irl stuff let alone other ones to go over besides it
I currently believe in tier 2 Titans, so it's not all LA stuff with me, but for the most part, yeah, I stand by the general cast for Second Timeline being in that general area. First timeline I think is tier 7-6 for Armageddon and somewhere in tier 8 otherwise for most characters, with notably exceptions like Shao Kahn.Mhm sure, back when the verse wasnt so dead both here and in general nowadays, you got yourself involved by supporting the tier 9/8 cast bullshit
If you don't want Bob Ross to show up, take a chill pill manLearn the difference on whats hostile or not, also spare me your bob ross video, i didnt watch the last time you sent it to me when you cancelled that thread and wont watch it this time either
Funny how any debate with you ends in hostility, huh BD?

Thats...not what the argument is. At all. For one, it doesnt make her untouchable. For two, the thing with Mercury wasnt because Ruby was weaker, it was becaue she literally had not gained the ability to disassemble herself yet, she only gained that ability in the timeskip between volumes 3 and 4 where she mastered and evolved her Semblance. So like here's a sticking point for the whole 'Ruby's Semblance makes her an untouchable molecular reassembling speed god, the Mercury thing in volume 3 was just because she was weaker!' to me
That isnt the Jabberwalker, that is an Aura clone of the Jabberwalker created by Neo. Aura users can interact with intangible targets. Then what was this?
'Cause unless the Jabberwalker has the named and distinct ability to stabilize loose molecules, looks an awful lot like she was knocked out of her Semblance by physical force

It does yes. The Jabberwalker has the ability to touch intangible targets, so yes it would be able to do that, because that is exactly how Ruby's semblance functions.
Cool? I never said she couldnt. I want you to go back through my argument and screenshot where exactly i said she couldnt hit Ruby.Yes Weekly, I understand that's how her power is described. What I am saying is that the big argument has been that Maka can't knock Ruby out of Petal Burst unless she had some sort of power to affect things on the molecular level. I just posted a clip where Ruby was knocked out of Petal Burst. By a physical hit. A physical hit powered by the soul since that was apparently an Aura clone. Which means Maka has the ability to hit Ruby out of her Semblance using her variety of Soul-based techniques.
Weekly, I never said you said she couldn't. I said it was an argument made by other people. I know you're RWBY's number one glazer (read: hater) , but not every argument is made by you. I was bringing up my own debunk of a feat that people said was impossible.Cool? I never said she couldnt. Then why did you specifically ping me and snap at me as though i was the one who made the argument?
Its honestly a bit of a tossup, because Aura grants a blanket ability to touch all forms of intangibility, whereas Maka has only really demonstrated the ability to touch the soul/spirit/ghost form of intangibility, but its likely DB would allow her to hit Ruby in her semblance state, though Maka would only be able to do this while wielding Soul.
...toucheBro I literally didn't ping you at all I literally didn't even mention your name until you replied to my post
Also I checked the profiles and the only instance I see on this site of Aura letting you touch intangible objects is from a Reddit AMA where they said you need specific tools to touch a specific form of Grimm. I will play Devil's Advocate here and say maybe the VSB profiles don't have every instance of it, but I also didn't see any listings of that particular function of Aura on the RWBY Wiki either. If you have more proof than that AMA I'd legitimately, earnestly like to see them.
Im aware, but it can be disrupted and severed completely bu an interfering soul wavelength. Ruby's semblance is soul-based, so her using a soul-based ability that also physically breaks Soul down on a molecular level and separates him from Maka would absolutely sever their Resonance. Also last thing I want to say (and this is not an invitation to get onto another 2 page discussion with you again because we both know we're not convincing the other) but Maka and Soul can still use wavelength abilities even if they are not physically touching. Soul Resonance isn't limited by physical contact.
That would actually be hilariousIdk why but I'm imagining the fight ends with a fist fight and Maka wins solely because she knows how to throw a punch better than Ruby.
I feel like they would have Ruby throwing the punches in a similar manner to Qrow punching that one Scorpion dude.Idk why but I'm imagining the fight ends with a fist fight and Maka wins solely because she knows how to throw a punch better than Ruby.
"LET'S SEE YOU GRIT THOSE TEETH!"Idk why but I'm imagining the fight ends with a fist fight and Maka wins solely because she knows how to throw a punch better than Ruby.
Space isn’t a concept, even we humans warp space via our mass. Unless you mean a verse specific thing in which case sorryEver since when does space slicing/cutting or the like needs evidence it negates somebody durability, its damaging something that is fundamentally a concept,
Literally the only time shes shown to know how was landing a singular headbutt on Mercury when he was being smug- we've seen more than not that shes spent most of her time NOT knowing how to fight without a weapon in flashbacks, during volume 2 when she got KO'd by generic White Fang #5, and it was pretty much a main reason why she couldn't save Penny because Mercury literally kicked her out of her semblance's startup frame.I'll never understand why people think Ruby doesnt know how to fight barehanded
