No, he literally one-shotted the EntityBanner won via BFR, though…
Come now, mate. 4-6/10 for this is a robbery.Overall
Episode rating without the results: 6/10
Episode rating with the results: 4/10 and that's only because they at least pointed out Godzilla being 1-A.
SupenseAlso now i realized, what was the never before done thing that needed 1 extra week?
Pretty sure it was the unique ending. Also now i realized, what was the never before done thing that needed 1 extra week?
I really think it was just to finish up the animationAlso now i realized, what was the never before done thing that needed 1 extra week?
Godzilla was defeated in the same way the SP characters did in the anime. Hulk only cut the connection between the universe and Godzilla; I don't know where the idea of Godzilla being dead comes from…No, he literally one-shotted the Entity
If you count BFR without even actually killing your opponent as smashing your opponent, then yeah, Hulk smashed puny lizard.
It was mostly shown in the black boxes (like GodzillaxMarvel and GodzillaxDC).Expected them to go over more crossover stuff for Godzilla but all we got on that front is Hatsune Miku lol
The people that wanted Banner to be the key part of this battle instead of Hulk and Godzilla just repeatedly destroying everything endlessly until one out adapts the other, have been blessed!
Goku stuck in the 0-3 Club foreverGoku suffers alone in the 0-3 club
Do we even have anyone 0-2 who can theoretically join him?Goku stuck in the 0-3 Club forever
Goku needs a none superman march tbh bur goku kinda looses must of his match upsNow now, Charizard will join Goku soon.
The copium is strongGodzilla was defeated in the same way the SP characters did in the anime. Hulk only cut the connection between the universe and Godzilla; I don't know where the idea of Godzilla being dead comes from…
Nah bro that's me being generous. We had so much stuff that could've been used. This episode was somehow less spectacular than Hulk vs Broly and less interesting than the fanmade storyboards for the fight.Come now, mate. 4-6/10 for this is a robbery.
That part is kinda confusing but probably what happened. Either way, it was boring. Heck, their argument for why Banner could do that doesn't work at all. Also, I was thinking Hulk broke Singular Point only, they didn't show IT at all. Which is consistent with original anime.
Take a look:Do we even have anyone 0-2 who can theoretically join him?
They didn't even show Godzilla Ultima's True Form in the episode, which was the right decision given no one knows what it looks like…The copium is strong
My guess is that, the way the results were worded, Hulk's greater range due to Marvel's greater cosmology compared to Godzilla allowed Hulk to actually destroy the Entity as oppose to just cutting it off from the universe like in SP.Godzilla was defeated in the same way the SP characters did in the anime. Yeah imo the fight could have done more to showcase each other's abilities. I know budget and time would have prevented most butEven outside that, which was weird. Since, like, this is the first ever BFR win. Otherwise the fight would have been a stalemate.
I wanted more from a fight. Like, you have over 27 versions of Godzilla, right? Have Hulk fight all of them via clapping way and shattering the multiverse or something. This felt like Minus One and Ultima vs. Hulk.
If Constantine Vs Raidou happens down the line it'll be interesting to see how DB tackles the Megami Tensei cosmology since DC (similar to Marvel) has well defined cosmology in the Vs community with pretty much identical R>F stuff to Marvel. So with Death Battle using R>F arguments for Kyle vs Simon and now Hulk vs Godzilla in their research, what are the odds that fans of the show are going to just latch onto that shit now like they did for dimensional tiering? Because dimensional tiering in by itself alone has plagued modern day versus debating since it became mainstream, so God knows what's going to happen when they start attaching themselves to R>F in the future.
To me it looked like a parallel to the destruction of the archetype so I am not sure. Ig maybe they'll clarify it at some point. Still disappointed, they basically ignored "It"s abilities too.My guess is that, the way the results were worded, Hulk's greater range due to Marvel's greater cosmology compared to Godzilla allowed Hulk to actually destroy the Entity as oppose to just cutting it off from the universe like in SP.
Or at least that's what I think happened, just based on how the scene was presented and how the results were described
but Bruce is Hulk, those two are the same guyTheyy really gave Hulk the Jinx treatment
Jinx didnt beat a DC character she beat a Batman character
Hulk didnt beat Godzilla, Bruce did
Tell that to Marvelbut Bruce is Hulk, those two are the same guy
They can't kill Godzilla Ultima's True Form by just crystallizing the Red Dust, though. Also, like I mentioned, they didn't even show it, much less show it dying…My guess is that, the way the results were worded, Hulk's greater range due to Marvel's greater cosmology compared to Godzilla allowed Hulk to actually destroy the Entity as oppose to just cutting it off from the universe like in SP.

So nothing burger hype? Got itI really think it was just to finish up the animation
Also i have to wonder, dose hulk have any more matches? Shouldn't he stomp basically all of them now?So like I have a question through the waiting period I saw claims hulk can use the green door to basically go anywhere, like het to the astral sea and from there find pretty much anyone or he could use it to travel to other universes, is this true? They mention the green door could revive hulk in another universe but is that the case?
Given how the episode presented it, I assumed the red dimension with all of the eyes was supposed to be Ultima itself. Which Hulk blew up.They didn't even show Godzilla Ultima's True Form in the episode, which was the right decision given no one knows what it looks like…
Nah, those are just Singular Points…Given how the episode presented it, I assumed the red dimension with all of the eyes was supposed to be Ultima itself. Which Hulk blew up.
Godzilla was his most popular and his only other semi-popular match DB hasn't done is Superman so....Also i have to wonder, dose hulk have any more matches? Shouldn't he stomp basically all of them now?
