Rooting Godzilla, betting Hulk just because I doubt they'd let go Hulk 0-3, and Hulk is probably easier to explain winning than Godzilla. Not to say his arguements are stronger, probably just simpler.

Rooting for and betting Hulk. I think Ultima is going to get the Alien-X treatment, hyped up immensely for its overwhelming power and hax but brought down to earth and exposed as a fraud in DB.

Thinking about non-Ultima, since it seems any Marvel character can get to use Green Door, because some random Spidey gamma villain referenced and iirc in Immortal Hulk someone else absorbed some gamma and ended up in Below place, and some Godzillas can absorb gamma passively, so non-Ultima Godzilla might be able to stalemate surprisingly well.
Tho AP should mean Hulk should be able to vaporize Goji ig. But then again some people argue Green Doors allow (fast) resurrection from vaporization too.

Goku's status in pop culture as the strong character means he's a measuring stick for everyone else, hence the 'can he beat Goku?' meme.
Death Battle could realistically treat Goku however they want and hide behind any backlash as those darn DB fans, they did so for nearly a decade, meaning him losing to the same guy three times in a row without ever actually having a shot at winning is something no one will bat an eye at.
Granted GvS3 kept 99% of people happy because it was sincere and built good faith, good faith Omnidock promptly obliterated and set relations with Dragon Ball fans back several years, but the general point is Goku is the guy to beat.
No one in the Death Battle fandom really cares that Goku went 0-3 outside of Dragon Ball fans.
I personally don't see that happening again with another character.

More often than not, the character with the simpler wincons wins. Hulk has simpler wincons, and Ultima is such a dense topic to present.

It does kinda rub me the wrong way that the best stuff for both isn't even great tbh. TOBA Hulk isn't even The Hulk or Banner anymore but a puppet for literal evil incarnate that is the true source of gamma radiation in Marvel (yeah I'm still not a fan of gamma radiation being the essence of the "devil") meanwhile Godzilla has GiH (pure appeal to authority and powerscaling slop/leading questions that overshadow a very esoteric and interesting premise) and SP (which is agreed to be kinda lame or just bad outside the Vs community).
Normally I wouldn't make assumptions based on pfps and names but... this checks out.
