In the DMC4 novel, deadly fortune, when Agnus tries to absorb Dante's demonic power his response is basically going into DT which makes it so his body is producing demonic power at a faster rate at which he is losing it.
By all means and purposes DT would grant Dante infinite stamina to burn as it produces power faster than he burns it.
