DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Ain't saying it will, but disregarding the novel because "muh haven't read it" is foolish. I can say that Hulk is wanked cause I don't wanna read capeshit where they wank every character to High 1-A because the author wanted to make his little fave character cosmic. I don't, I don't mean what I said just now either (although it is true they like making every character cosmic depending on which author gets the reins). But I honestly doubt there's that many more people who've read the specific chapters where hulk reached those levels than there are those that have at least watched Godzilla SP.
How true is this, just saw and read this on reddit:
"Not like he Needs To rrach the True Form. He Just needs To banish the Avatar somehow."

"No. True Form Ultima Can't Directly interfere with our Plain of Exsistence. That's what the Avatar is For after all.

Hulk can't possibly reach Ultima Either.

Meaning yeah It is Really Just dependend on Hulk Vs The Avatar."

Flawed i'd say. It is true that we don't really know how tough "It" is in direct combat although we know it haxed and assimilated other 1-A creatures meaning it IS powerful.
It hasn't however shown the capability of directly attacking the universe with its 1-A body, although technically that's logical since its the same way we can't really interact with our dreams for example.

Banishing its avatar, however, isn't really a solution.
In the anime and novel it was a temporary solution and it was done through the banishment of the Singular Point. It was specifically temporary. At any point "It" can just re-create the SP and its avatar at any point in time, hell, it was literally already defeated in 1954 when the SP was only partially formed and then it just casually re-appeared in 2030 for no reason other than just cause it wants to win. Considering there were hints at s2 it is likely that we'd see another invasion by "It" sooner or later.

For the purposes of a battle with the assumption that Hulk is specifically the target, nothing stops "It" from making endless Singular Points and endless avatars. It can literally extend their growth through time. Additionally it is unclear if Hulk would be able to do anything about the SP either since he wouldn't know of its existence and destroying the one inside godzilla's avatar would only destroy a "part" of it and would be replicated quite easily.

In short, we know "It" can dominate other 1-A creatures but it uses a countless-dimensional or higher (there's some evidence but that's for waaaay later cause it'll take time) physical extension of itself to basically overtake universes.

It also could be possible that "It" can easily destroy a universe by itself without its avatar considering it does have all the hax of all of its creations. The reason why it doesn't do that is because it overtakes them, expanding its own avatar into an Omega Point inside it, surpassing even the singular point (which is a hole through to the space time). The other red dust creatures that are part of it would then just do whatever with the universe, manipulating it however they want, changing the matter of the stars, the nature ect. All to expand their dominion.

Why do they do that? Honestly, no clue. I thought I had a clearer understanding when I was scaling the whole shebang to 1-B but honestly regardless of the tier there was literally 0 reason to do all that...other than...pleasure? The sense of acquiring territory? A game? Never clarified.

You can just say Donny Cates.

So, Social Influencing can work here. Bruce Banner might come in clutch

No? What part of what I just said suggested that? Ultima just barely understands names, it can somewhat correlate a name to a specific being. It is beyond a supercomputer but it has had no real concept of social conversation. With the other godzillas it might but i highly doubt Banner could convince it to stop its actions. At most it would make It interested.

So, complete capeshit death? W.

Wait what
Oh yeah, there's several creatures who existed on the same level as "It". "It" was like a powerful stream and its existence basically forced other entities in the same realm to become it's "tributaries", kinda like lower rivers become part of a bigger river. " It" controls them and sent them in first into the universe to look down on dimensions before it itself arrived as Godzilla.
Sometimes they experience some ego confusion and think they're the main stream and try to challenge "It" only to be quickly reminded of their place.
Otherwise they are not only parts or branches of "it" but also under its control as it uses them as it pleases.

Those creatures manifest themselves as well in the series as Rodans, Anguiruses, Mandas and Kumongas. Their real forms that are part of it are 1-A.

Thats nice and all, but what if DB just said, "No Doesn't matter" or "Below Herald Anyway"?

That's up to DB. For all we know they won't acknowledge higher dimensions for either character lmfao.
Considering that higher-dimensions are heavily important for the scaling of both characters and the DB recently started to directly mention them on their analyses, i honestly think they will, even if they do so indirectly

For the Godzilla powerscalers here: What is Godzilla's strongest version that ins't Ultima or is reliant on crossover scaling?
That one Godzilla that has the instant kill card from the card game
It's Heisei I think. 4-B. With scaling that hasn't been accepted here it'd be GiH Godzilla most likely.

Probably Heisei I'd argue? Ik about multiversal Godzilla in Hell interpretations, but given the track record for how bad WoG stuff is for Godzilla material, and the comic being highly up to interpretation, I don't buy it personally.

Actually, I think it may be Gemstone Godzilla. Although it's kinda hard to call him just Godzilla considering it's Godzilla Jr revived with Burning Godzilla's energy

Yeah I wouldn't count him as a standard Goji or more of a separate guy.

'>"novel no one can read"
'>literally read by me and many others
'>several lorenerds and somehow even chinese scalers from a Toh Enjoe fan community read and analyzed it posting evidence in english
'>all proof and necessary translations out in the open for everyone to see
'>cope or ragebait? You decide
Yeah heard this spiel before with the likes of Demonbane and many other Japanese media. I don't trust a word from a website that puts the likes of Tucker Foley at multiversal.

It's crazy how Broly beating Hulk was the most based thing Death Battle has ever done.
Not only was it based, but I'd say it was pretty significant since Dragon Ball went through years without a win before that point so I'd definitely say that it was a long time coming.

Even though, by modern DB standards, Hulk should beat Broly

Beerus won against galaxia and dragon ball was on a winning streak during that time
You can say hulk was noteworthy opponent as opposed to fodder and chumps compared to the rest

So they didn't just drop that plot point after the end of the Heisei era? Neat. That last scene was legit very powerful.
