Yeah, tbh, in DB Reddit there is atm a lot more emotional support for Hulk. Hell, most shitposts in frontpage are clearly thinly veiled cope posts for Hulk to win.

Its a lose lose scenario here. If you use Ultima, it just straight up doesnt look too good for Hulk. Hell, its possible that if Goji wins, he could take it with low or NO Difficulty at all.

And if you dont use Ultima, the current Hulk DB fans have fanficced him so strong that he could just clap his butt cheeks and destroy every single Godzilla, their characters and cosmologies combined at once. How is that a fun debate?

And I actually could totally understand some fans disliking Goji L. Goji has big deal crossovers with KOing Superman and freaking beating a Marvel Celestial. They used the crossover in Scooby vs Courage and its likely a composite, seems slam dunk.

This is something I've been wondering, how much does old Marvel scale to new Marvel? A lot of time has passed, but also characters have time-traveled, and while I can't name any specifics, I can bet that they've faired well against their present selves.

Im really curious did Godzilla's 1st crossover happen before or after Hulk punched a time storm, deflectected waves to destroy universe and Hulk shaking that infinity crossroads.

What I'm surprised is the guy who made Minus One was the one who butchered the Dragon Quest V movie with its nonsense twist.

I remember watching it on Netflix, I was waiting with baited breath to see Nimzo yet instead of an epic final boss battle my expectations were grossly subverted and the ending was essentially an abridged version of what SAO and AC already did with a little Neon Genesis Evangelion sprinkled on top (because that's totally what Dragon Quest/Warrior is about). A classic example of injecting unnecessary meta social commentary in a simple story that ruins the investment and feels like a waste of time.

The plot twist still made me laugh tho.

Both are well spoken and elegant in their presentation,both share an extremely resonant motif in their designs tied to the natural world,they have the ability to manipulate life based energy in order to conjure up energy blasts and swords,and both have amped up,glowing super forms. Both also have green hued merged forms that wildly alter their appearances.

Dialogue and animation potential for this would be great

Tbf if Godzilla gets crossover leeway then the same should apply to Hulk too no? That said off the top of my head crossovers don't really do any favours for the Hulk (he lost to both Batman and Superman iirc).

Honestly, meta humor, meta commentary, meta horror... they've have been grinded a bit too much by this point. We have a bit too many characters lampshading how the joke is that stuff like that happens only in fiction, drama about self aware fictional characters or addressing the player and guilt tripping them or horror villains messing with the game or your PC. It's becoming the new "looks adorable on the surface but's actually twisted and creepy underneath".

DDLC, Undertale and such are positive examples, given those were among the first ones to try this sort of spin, did it very well and by then was genuinely mindblowing. The issue is that after games like those became mega popular, a lot of people have been trying to try their hand on it.
