I mean TBF we were also meming on how ridiculous it was to not give a single vote to Kyle, while saying it was so close. And then spending like half of Kyle's side, strangely downplaying his cosmology while not giving that same scrutiny to the Simons side.

I have no idea if DB actually followed that line of thinking as well, but i do know that its strange how weirdly one sided it felt against Kyle when they've never been that scrutinizing towards DC's cosmology before (and lets be honest, they won't be again if they every bring up another DC powerhouse)
 
Ah, it was a community Death Battle. My mistake.

On another note, since we're high on GL MUs after the Simon W - I've elected to finalize a certain Xeno MU in his honour... even making a custom thumbnail type for it:

DISCLAIMER: This is NOT me announcing my own VS series. I do not nearly have the money nor the connections to open such a thing (although a one-off episode might be nice...)

So...

Jin Uzuki (Xenosaga Trilogy) vs Kittan Bachika (TTGL)​

  • Both possess mechs that are not technically their own through varying circumstances (what with E.S Reuben only being piloted by Jin en loan from Doctus and the folks at Scientia as part of their private investigations and contracting, and Kittan's... well, 'King Kittan' being a stolen gunman from the Beastmen, similar to how GL was nicked from same). Both Mechs are then destroyed by the main antagonists of the series in some way (Wilhelm force-returning the E.S's and Vessels of Anima during the party's confrontation with Zarathustra, and King Kittan dying in the kamikaze strike on the Death Spiral Machine).
  • Both also have a... strained relationship with their sisters, with Jin not fully having the social acumen to communicate with Shion Uzuki (in... reluctant acknowledgement of her trauma), only to contemplate killing Shion when she's "gaslit" into re-joining Testament Kevin, and Kittan pre-timeskip being an absolute goof with the Black Siblings (Kiyoh, Kinon and Kiyal), before Kinon becomes Rossiu's simultaneous informant and love interest (despite Rossiu rigging a post-timeskip GL with explosives with her in it to strongarm Simon into doing his job), while she rather infamously slaps Kittan for the sin of calling out Rossiu's authoritarianism.
  • With that said, both also have a rivalry with another, albeit from contrasting allegiances. Jin has his feud with Margulis to contend with after both character's time with Ouga Uzuki, Jin's grandfather (Margulis may have also stolen Jin's former lover Pellegri although this is largely one of III's many asspulls), with Margulis committing Seppuku after a final E.S duel inside Michtam. Meanwhile, Kittan has butt heads with Kamina, although with a more friendly rapport (Yoko has also developed romantic feelings for both of them at varying points in their stories).
  • As touched upon earlier, both end up sacrificing themselves at the end of their series in some way - with Jin taking Asher back into the core of Michtam to hold off an invading Gnosis horde whilst chaos, Abel and Nephilim return them to the Zohar (and assumedly Lost Jerusalem), erstwhile Kittan plagiarizes uses the Giga Drill Breaker to bail team Dai-Gurren out of the Death Spiral Machine.
And... that's the long and short of it (aside from both characters having 4-A to T1 ranges of power, depending on how you construe their scaling). There's also a personality contrast that would make for interesting banter potential - what with Jin being generally level headed, almost to the point of self-deprecation at times, meanwhile Kittan is hot-headed, and more or less takes on the role of a sort of 'Kamina V1.5' in his arc.

If someone had told me back when this season's line up was announced that OmniDock was going to be the worst one / my least favorite, I would have called them crazy. But here we are.

Constantine probably loses that fight purely because of the kind of character he is. His peaks are really high but those are the result of his planning and craftiness. He's not just casually packing massive amounts of power like other DC magic users like Zatanna or Dr. Fate who are both far above him. In DnD terms he'd be a Rogue so while Constantine might outsmart Raidou, I don't think he could overpower him so blatantly.

It really depends on if you can buy Constantine being clever enough to survive for long enough to get the win. While outsmarting people way stronger than him is kind of Constantine's thing, you don't want a repeat of "GUTS FIGHTS PEOPLE STRONGER THAN HIM EVERY DAY".

I personally wouldn't scale Constantine to either of them tbh. The Spectre is able to fight people like the Phantom Stranger and a full power Dr. Fate and we saw in Justice League Dark that Dr. Fate completely stomped both Swamp Thing and Constantine without even trying. The only reason Fate didn't kill Constantine was because he didn't want to deal with a bunch of powerful Hell Lords showing up before he was ready.

The issue with those summons is that they hate Constantine


There's a chance DB just doesn't use them as a good faith argument or Raidou might just unironically be able to get them to turn against Constantine through negotiating since they all hate him lol

Omnidock at least could be argued to have a decent fight and good music just bog down by a dog shit outcome and reasoning
Kratosura ass tho no defending that
 
I really hope they go fully drawn animation for the next battle, and really lean into the toony style.

Ain't want no blood either, make the fight as wacky as the respective materials, would be fun af tbh.
