I'm kinda mixed about it. Assuming that Imperiex's big bang is truly 1-B, then Kyle holding it back is kinda legit. But the problem is that earlier on in the story arc, Kyle was defeated by a mere Imperiex probe, so it does kinda cause some weird scaling issues. Though considering Kyle's power is variable on his will, you could argue he was much more locked in their second fight than the first.Legit how legit is the 12.3 big bang shit @Emirp sumitpo
That's not really what the key is, Post Circle of Fire Kyle is more just regular GL Kyle but stronger. It's him after overcoming a lot of his previous mental blocks and trauma.Kyle wasn't a base Green Lantern there. This was Post-Circle of Fire Kyle Rayner, he was in the process of becoming Ion. This wasn't a base Green Lantern. Kyle later relinquished all of Ion's power to recharge the central battery.
I prefer it over the current MUHey, thoughts on Madoka Kaname vs Simon the Digger?
Nia enters the cockpit of Gurren Lagann with Simon.
Each Lagann merged into Gurren Lagann.
It was anger. It was sadness. It was compassion. It was every emotion one could think of.t was anger. It was sadness. It was compassion. It was every emotion one could think of.
The feelings that each of us had in our respective universes appeared in the form of a drill, breaking through the wall.
It was appearing in the form of two shapes and sizes, and they became one.
If you have no choice but to fight, do not hesitate.
We are not afraid to ask for power.
If there's a wall, we'll hit and break it, if there's no way, we'll make it with our own hands!
-No, more.
Breaks through cause, effect and fate, scream cry of life resounds in the galaxy!
-Still, more.
Engrave the feelings of a friend in this body, and turn infinite darkness into light!
-That's it.
Greater powerful than stars and galaxies.
Greater power than dimensions and time.
Discord says he watched his show and knows how he dies, but it didnt matter according to them, i guess its due to Discord not having ways to deal with Bill even with that infoDidn't they also mention this In bill vs Discord
You really think they will include 20D shit and all?I guess technically this info might have come just in time since Kirb made the Outer STTGL Blog in August last year, right as KS was getting finished. So they might have had time to hear about this.
Its anyones guess, black box info likely tbh.You really think they will include 20D shit and all?
If only they didnt scale DC heralds so high, how come only marvel heralds lost a couple of times to non DC characters in over 11 seasons of this show, even street level DC characters or alternate versions lost once to a non marvel characterIts anyones guess, black box info likely tbh.
They'll probably say "Another GL John Stewart, created a construct solar system, so Kyle must be able to do the same thing"
Eh not really? Kyle is held in regard in the same league as John by both the Guardians and the Justice League, and scaling wise, I'd argue them to be comparable if not Kyle being slightly higher, especially with Kyle generally being much more imaginative.Even though John is clearly the more skilled GL Lantern.
Man that i Heard that Word so many times that i now asociate It with another showIts a nuanced discussion. DC is strong verse, so in theory even if DC does win a lot, that itself doesnt mean they are biased for DC.
Its the fact that they do show a lot of leniency for DC, like how supposedly the Kyle big bang feat has caveats that they ignore and for Raven's stats were contested as well.
Anyone else feel like DB gives DC a lot of leniency in using some feats?
Didn't John have access to a completely different side of the emotional spectrum? Imo I think thats more impressive then becoming a WL.Eh not really? Except modern stuff though since John recently got an amp a few years back.
Yeah but that's more recently. The 4-B thing happens way long ago in PC. Previously speaking, Base GL John is fairly relative to Base GL Kyle.Didn't John have access to a completely different side of the emotional spectrum? Imo I think thats more impressive then becoming a WL.
Can someone give me the 20-D Simon statement?Deepseek says said:The statements from DC Comics regarding "dimensions" primarily refer to layers of existence, parallel universes, or metaphysical planes within the DC cosmology rather than mathematical/spatial dimensionality (e.g., 3D vs. 4D+). Here's a breakdown:
1. Rama Kushna's Statement (DC Universe Presents #2)
- Context: The Sphere of the Gods is described as "two steps removed" from the physical universe/multiverse (via Bleedspace). This is a hierarchical separationof metaphysical realms, not spatial dimensions.
- The "innumerable dimensions" likely refer to the myriad planes of existence within the DC cosmology (e.g., Heaven, Hell, Dreaming, New Genesis/Apokolips). These are distinct realms with unique physical laws (e.g., "solid gravity," malleable time).
- Not Spatial Dimensions: The Sphere of the Gods exists as a higher "layer" of reality, not as a higher-dimensional space. Its separation is qualitative (governing laws, metaphysical nature) rather than quantitative (dimensional axes).
2. The Wanderer's Statements (Larfleeze #3–5)
- Parallel Worlds vs. Infinite Dimensions: The Wanderer conflates "parallel worlds" and "infinite dimensions," suggesting the latter refers to alternate universeswithin the multiverse. For example:
- "Creation points" and "nexus" between dimensions imply transitions between universes (like the Bleed in DC, which separates universes).
- "Infinite dimensions" here likely means infinite parallel universes, not infinite spatial dimensions. This aligns with DC's established infinite multiverse (pre- and post-Crisis frameworks).
- Temporal/Perceptual Context: The Wanderer’s fractured consciousness across "past, present, and parallel worlds" emphasizes omnipresence across timelines and realities, not spatial dimensionality.
Key Takeaways
- Cosmological Layers, Not Spatial Dimensions: Both quotes emphasize hierarchical realms (Sphere of the Gods) and multiversal scope (infinite universes). Neither implies the DC multiverse is infinite-dimensional in a geometric/mathematical sense.
- "Dimension" in Comics Terminology: In DC (and comics generally), "dimension" often refers to alternate realities (e.g., Earth-1, Earth-2) or metaphysical planes (e.g., Heaven, Speed Force), not spatial axes. This usage is distinct from scientific "dimensionality."
- Infinite Multiverse ≠ Infinite Spatial Dimensions: An infinite multiverse (infinite universes) does not require or imply infinite spatial dimensions. Each universe in DC is typically 3D/4D (with time), and the multiverse is a collection of these universes.
Conclusion
These statements do not support the idea of the DC multiverse being infinite-dimensional in spatial terms. Instead, they reinforce the infinite scope of parallel universes and the layered structure of DC's cosmology (physical multiverse → Bleedspace → Sphere of the Gods). "Dimensions" here are narrative constructs for alternate realities or metaphysical tiers, not mathematical dimensions.
Idk, the Wanderer sounded pretty distinct in his discernment between dimensions and universes. He didn't seem to use them interchangeably.Parallel Worlds vs. Infinite Dimensions: The Wanderer conflates "parallel worlds" and "infinite dimensions," suggesting the latter refers to alternate universes within the multiverse.
As far as the preview goes Kyle seems to be way more varied and powerful as a green lantern (12.3D vs 11D, unless 20D), with no white lantern or life equation factored yet, so atm its concerningI think people need to pump the breaks like seriously. We have no idea what they're going to scale Simon to or Where WL Kyle is at. Just wait till the epsidoe people
depends meta knight closer in stat now than just MK breathes n zero diesUniversal mega man X?
Does this change any of his MU? I don’t think Zero is gonna make a comeback anytime soon.
how impressive was john amp again?Yeah but that's more recently. The 4-B thing happens way long ago in PC. Previously speaking, Base GL John is fairly relative to Base GL Kyle.
Plus even his newer GL feats ain't that much higher than his usual stuff so eh.
Here's the Drama CD:Can someone give me the 20-D Simon statement?
Not impossible. Reverse-Flash had most of his best stuff saved for the post-fight if I remember correctly.I'm at least impartial to 20D Simon, but given what we have in the previews so far, is there zero chance of that kind of scaling getting - for lack of a better term - golden tree'd? As in, 20D is mentioned nowhere in the analysis, and then it's bought up post-fight out of nowhere?
Gumball is back.
