DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

What are the best feats for Green Lanterns since 2018? The best I can find in early Rebirth is Hal Jordan stopping a big bang (With only a supernova level of energy but shhhh) and erasing a universe with the Miracle Machine

If Ultraman ever makes it on they could totally work the color timer noises into the track. Kind of like the low HP theme in the Gen 5 pokemon games

It's annoying how respect threads sort of just died after 2022, so I have no clue what Green Lanterns have done in recent years because too busy to read it all.

It appears more and more Kyle will have to be carried by elaborate scaling chains that are divorced from any internal consistency. Kyle's winning this, I just hope they say it's through the LE and not a nonsense scale chain.

I'm starting to understand how Asura fans feel.
Our glorious featsman should've never lost to that barbaric loreman.

So one of the things that happened near the end of the brand new DOOM game is the Doom Slayer piloting a skyscraper sized mecha and using it to rip off the head of a Cthulhu look alike entity.

This doesn't change the results of Slayer vs Chief, that's still accurate, but I find it pretty funny that Dark Ages is having Slayer doing crazy shit like this.

So I guess ID ninja'd me but I wanted a DOOM game based on actual lovecraftian stuff, like hard in. Not simply the motifs like Quake. Like take argent metal, mix it with Shub Niggurath Zeuhl with reed organs and cellos and french horns and sampling space and undersea noises like the bloop and have you ripping and tearing in non-euclidean battlefields and backroom/black lodge like prisons you shatter out of by blood punching.

I'm only a couple levels into Dark Ages, but as far as I've heard this game really embraces the Lovecraftian elements of the DOOM franchise instead of flirting with it.

Like one of the new locations in the series is called the Cosmic Realm, which I would compare to something like R'lyeh where its this utterly alien location where you combat abominations and shit. It's wild.
