I remember reading Power of Ion and being mindblown by this part

Kyle really had one of the best character development arcs in all of DC

So funny enough, East had an early 3-0, probably the first 3-0 in DB. Nobody really thinks about this because they were video game verses tho lol. Even fabled "DB hates anime" era doesnt fit since Kirby vs Buu was East vs East actually.

While East got that early lead, they actually werent as mega dominant, West managed to catch up few times. It even overtook East in S5 with Ultron. But then East took it back and holds it back for a while till Yoda vs K.Mickey. In fact, they gained a big lead in 2nd half of S7, getting 5 wins for 20-15 lead.

But thats the end of East's dominant run. Basically since S8, aka 2021, West managed to make 20-15 W/L ration in East's favor into 23-27 W/L in West's favor. Good god! East has had only 4 wins counting from S8. West has had 12 lmao. This kind of turnover probably explains why some complain about West bias ig. Its very recent and VERY notable.

...Also Im still not counting Donkey Kong vs Knuckles as East vs West MU, just add a W in West section if you want to.

While we're on the subject of Undertale MUs, I did a bit of digging into Sans (gotta get back to playing Undertale at some point, I guess), and realized he might not be a bad Dickson (XC1) MU (even if he is booked in for 'The Judge' or like a Bill Cipher runback or something).

From what I've read, both are well-travelled and jokey despite also being somewhat lonely in personality. One Ludonarrative element is how both have this sort of 'obvious twist' to them (Dickson having that Freudian slip about 'deceiving these kids', and Sans being, well... from Undertale, that game's plot details are common knowledge by now). As a Corollary, a similar contrast both have is how they construe 'you betrayed the world' when turning around to the main character(s) (what with Dickson shooting Shulk in the back saying 'you shouldn't have done that, little brat', whilst on Prison Island turning around to Fiora's callout about a world where nothing exists and effectively going 'so?', erstwhile Sans... well, you've all seen the Genocide route, haven't you? Sans basically turns around and interprets betrayal of the world by Frisk/Charra as this rhetorical 'so, how big is your body count, kid?' question).

Oh, and both happen to be either Father figures or act as 'cookey uncles'/older and wiser to those same mains until the twist happens.

Since it's the 2 year anniversary of tears of the kingdom anyone got a good MU for this lil' bird freak? Tbh one of the top 5 funniest Zelda characters that could pop up in a DB.

So around tier 5?
Yeah, I think he and the other sages are gonna be At least moon level, likely/possibly large planet level (I can't remember excatly what was decided for their tiering). He scales above Ganon's weakened state at the very least but scaling to his full power is a big eehhhhh. He and the other sages can do minor chip damage to him and handle attacks from him, but once he gets serious he incapacitates everyone except Link with a single attack (Granted they don't become unconsious from it which is impressive, but they can't pick themselves up from the floor)

The only way Swank allows Kyle to lose is if he gets to say that Hal would beat Simon.
Unless there's something new in Rebirth, Parallax and Ion simply do not have the cosmological feats to compare to stuff White Lanterns are implied to do. The only way is very disingenuous scaling from the Miracle Machine which hal used to rewrite a single universe.

Why is this joke so popular when it comes to talking about Kyle Rayner?
It's the origin of the term "fridging", where a female character is killed off purely for the sake of drama for the male character. There have been multiple instances of fridging prior, but this is one of the most notorious examples and one of the prime examples often used

This is unfortunately Kyle Rayner's biggest impact on pop culture. 💔

Whats the context about it, a villain killed his female friend or love interest?

Major Force, a villain working for the government, kills his girlfriend purely as a way to hurt Kyle. He stuffs her corpse in Kyle's fridge as one huge middle finger to Kyle.

This happens very early in Kyle's first run, and was done as a way to give some form of conflict for Kyle by the writer. It also quickly became the subject of heavy criticism and backlash from fans, and thus the term "fridging" would be coined.

Major Force then did it again with his mother IIRC, though it turned out it was just a dummy

I don't know if I've said it before, but if it wasn't a hideous grotesque nasty bolostomp, I always vibed with Hal Jordan/Parallax vs Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader and Kyle Rayner vs Luke Skywalker on a purely thematic level (Obviously statistically speaking the idea is ludicrous)
