Pretty decent MU, they've even got similar AP regardless of how low or high you rate them (Lower end both are multi-continental, high ends they reach universal). Although Dante takes speed by a landslide and overall has superior hax, plus for the universal ends he also ends up with a better scaling chain for AP.

Ultima creating dimensions and such (The games bestiary confirms places like the interdimensional rift is both a realm of his creation but also that it's "beyond space and time", and later on warps it to his liking during the final boss battle with it being shown to contain it's own cosmos within it). Clive at his peak completely dogwalks Ultima.
There's also the DLC with omega where he's got a Low 2-C statement via a specific attack, although the exact nature of scaling Clive to it is kinda iffy but given statements about it's powers compared to the likes of Ultima you could probs safely argue that he'd scale above that attack anyway.

Brandon is not reusing will of the drill for the fight at best some nods to it but the fight music gonna be its own thing
not to mention he finds the will of the drill overrated in his opinion so yeah theres not gonna be some chance of it being used for the fight outside some nods to it as a track

Why would you expect the fight to re-use a song already made anyway, for it to be re-used, the fight had to be made after it in order to fit in, which i doubt they the animator, let alone storyboarder was gonna do it like that

The absorption thing was brought up even in the Death Battle cast btw, that even if there was an infinite power gap, Simon has shown in TTGL he can absorb energies from infinite power gaps to reach the level of his opponent. He also has low-godly regen which is what carried Spawn in his DB.
This is what makes me somewhat optimistic that they have to say the LE gives Kyle the w, because for one thing the scale chains they have to use to get WL at outerversal is so tenuous and strained (And frankly bulshit. He isn't Godsphere level), DB might think it's overcomplicated to justify when the LE is just an easy win, the other because an infinite power gap won't mean much for Simon then. Reality warping is also conveniently the one thing Simon doesn't have a resistance to which Kyle can pull out.
