Death Battle already put Spawn at multiversal levels of power for scaling to people who "create and control universes" with no reservations whatsoever so I'm at least somewhat confident they'd do the same for Doom Slayer.
 
Technically since they didnt say it, I do wonder if they find the context of creating the universe to not be applicable for scaling. At least GoW primordials did a big punch.

...How was Doom universe created?

Something with the Arbiter / Thel, maybe? Halo just really isn't a universe built for this kinda thing. Outside of the crazy shit the Forerunners do, the verse isn't exactly pumping out high tier fighters or feats, and honestly, I think that's fine.
 
Me personally a matchup I always liked as a kid was Noble Six vs Courier Six purely because Reach and New Vegas were my two favorite games ever until I got Dark Souls 3, also because they're both from hellish sci-fi settings and have the whole 'Six' thing going on. If those Halo revisions go through some time soon then the fight will get pretty close stat wise since Fallout got buffed recently.

Davoth just molded it out of the void. Even better, it was originally a realm that looked more like Immora but then he got super angry and reality warped it into Hell. The whole realm is sentient because it's literally just an extension of Davoth and his power. On top of all that, there's a bunch of statements of being able to destroy all of creation so yeah.

From a non-DB standpoint, he definitely beats V1 and Kratos. But when it comes to Spawn, he would either eventually get erased from existence, use concept/soul manip/absorption to put Spawn down for good (spawn has no conceptual shit and his resistance to soul manipulation might be lessened if Doomguy ripped his body apart), or just get into a stalemate

But as for how DB deals with it? V1 might have a chance if they discount Doom Slayer's higher speed metas and give him that miscalculation of King Minos based on his size compared to a texture depicting a city or new york or whatever, and even if they do give Doom Slayer lore scaling they might give Kratos higher AP depending on how big they think the Doom multiverse is. As for Spawn, I'm just not sure how they would determine that.

Hopefully Dark Ages and its DLC gives Doomguy even more hax so that this potential performance against them becomes more definitive. Anything could happen especially with that Cosmic Realm with eldritch beings that they're putting into it. Even just getting existence erasure resistance would be REALLY good for potential matchups.
 
ChiefDoom was pretty solid. Fight was fun and I liked the little team up, the analysis was decent enough, and overall just pretty fine. I liked that Doomguy had the upper hand in like, the entire fight, and I don't mind the low balls for him considering who his opponent is. The part where Doomguy catches the rocket is ******* peak.

Though I'm not gonna lie, watching Master Chief get torn up like that ain't exactly fun.

Simon Vs Kyle next. My GOAT ratboy Kyle be taking this, I feel it in my bones.

If Death Battle does do Doom Slayer vs Kratos and is reasonable about it, they'd hopefully give
-speed to Doom Slayer via the Maykr shit
-experience via fighting for millennia almost nonstop
-a SLIGHT edge to Kratos in terms of versatility since Doomguy has a huge arsenal with runes and shit and the ability to absorb energy just like Kratos but can't warp space or time to the same extent as Kratos and doesn't have the same danmaku shit that Kratos's spear does
-power to Doomguy via scaling to a "myriad" of universes compared to Kratos's 9 (or even bring up dimensional scaling too)

Spawn won because Rider's only relevant hax (at least in Death Battle) were soul manip, pain manip, BFR and mind manipulation which Spawn resisted and also had but to an even better extent. Still, unless Doomguy gets more layered hax and/or AP in the future, DB gives Doomguy concept manip, or DB considers Doomguy killing Spawn as sufficient to weaken his resistance to soul manipulation, yeah he'd probably lose against spawn. Or maybe they could compare the number of souls Doomguy scales to vs Spawn? I don't know.

Yeah definitely. Not to mention Kyle is gonna have access to things like the Life Equation and the emotional spectrum, which is definitely gonna **** up Simon given how spiral power works.

Yeah, plus I always found it weird how everyone argued about how the LE doesn't matter to Kyle when it's

  • A pretty big part of WL Kyle's stories
  • Canonically treated as the height of a WL's power.

They're absolutely gonna give it to Kyle.
