I like how they didn't explicitly quantify Doomslayer killing the "creator of everything" but we all know what the lore scaling entails, from what I saw Doomslayer was well into island level while Chief was dubiously city level on of top Doomslayer taking the stat trinity as well as experience, skill and arsenal.
I'm kinda impressed peeps actually thought Chief stood a chance or Vega getting hacked was actually gonna do anything impactful (likely Sundisk PTSD) but honestly at least DB did a curbstomp fight with some nuance, tho I do wonder how the normies would react to a (bare minimum) universal level character getting matched up against a (dubiously) city level opponent because of a fan poll run back lol!
This MU was a rip n tear...

I think they were just trying their absolute best to not make it seem like a complete wash. Wouldn't be a very engaging episode if, in the analysis, they just said "this guy maybe tanks nukes if you squint, and the other is an actual demi god. Place your bets now!"

The fight was actually quite good, I had low expectations but this was way better than I expected. The scene where they stop fighting to kill the demons was cool and definitely something they should do more for future battles and I’m glad they didn’t hold back on the Death (poor MC) but above all the fact that Slayer being able to outrun rockets was actually included in the battle to get an upper hand is ******* hilarious. Research covered both well and realistically even using only Doomguy stuff would be enough for him to win.

Also, Cortana and Vega didn't really matter in the fight which is kinda sad.
And the fight itself was fine - although the part were they massacred demons together was awesome.

I do wonder why they even bothered talking about the BFG10000. It's not like the Slayer was gonna actually use it in the fight at any point for obvious reasons.

What's funny if you actually give Doomslayer "lore scaling" (I dislike that's still a thing) and use DBs volume scaling he'll actually give either Ghost Rider or Spawn a good fight and it'll actually be closer than him vs Chief.
Also props to DA, I know some peeps give him a hard time with his inconsistent 3D animations but I'm glad the fight turns out good; 7.5/10 for me personally.
As for next time, the will of the drill Vs DCs everyone and their literal grandma is 1-A or higher. Can't wait to see it tbh.

I’ve got no stakes in this matchup but I’m praying on Kyle’s downfall soley so we get our first herald killer and because it might mean not every DC herald gets the default shitteroutervsal scaling if they go that route

They gave Martian Manhunter feats unique to himself, Raven feats unique to herself, and Superman feats he got from sundipping to reach omniversal levels. Outside that they were just shitton x universal, maybe infinite multiversal.
Kyle wouldn't scale to the circumstances they gave MMH, Raven, Supes, or Zatana because they are nonapplicable hax they had and he doesn't.

Music was hells good, and the moment when Chief and Slayer kill demons together is chilling.
Scaling is a ******* disgrace though. After giving Kratos MFTL+ and Multiverse through context, watching them evaluate Doomguy at Island level, Class K, and compare him to rocket speed is just cringe. I get that it was enough to beat the Shief, but when they say context is important in one case, and then say DOOM's power level is up to player interpretation in another, it's confusing. Especially when Eternal has direct statements for scaling
