DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Hope you realize this is from an era death battle used about any source for characters canon or not, you seriously try to support your point with an old fight.....modern Death Battle changed buddy, comprehend it
They used a ******-up super composite SCOOBY-DOO, why the hell would they show restraint with Godzilla?

First of all most of scooby media used, except a few are following a main canon, it wasnt all out composite, also they used courage crossover too

And in the end it didnt matter given it was a draw, you seen for marvel vs dc to use full composite? Or any other battle so far? Outside fallongus? What makes you think godzilla gets dc and marvel scaling?

After finishing Metaphor, Will vs the Tarnished is a real ******* vibe and could work out amazingly. Better than the Nahobino facing the Tarnished, at least.

From what I know, anything beyond tier 6 for Tsukihime (Not counting REALLY OP stuff like Archetype Earth) is pure wank, even right before Type-Moon got nuked on VSBW we had most Tsukihime characters having tier 6 stats, including Kouma
They were Tier 6 because they were outdated. Several characters would likely scale to the top tiers of the franchise if done now (Kouma likely being one of them)
From what I know, right now Kazuya is the most popular option from Iori, nevertheless I think I've recently discovered a MU from Iori that I like quite a lot, so I kinda wanna here your thoughts on it.

Kouma Kishima vs Iori Yagami (Tsukihime vs KoF)
  • Characters that were born in notorious clans (Yagami clan and Kishima clan) who have gained monstrous blood in order to become more powerful (Yagami clan forming a blood pact with Orochi and the Kishima clan mixing with onis), this however backfired, as eventually these clans would pretty much become extinct (Members of the Yagami clan dying because of being cursed and the Kishima clan getting massacred by Kiri Nanaya, alongside other hybrid clans), making Iori and Kouma the last members of their families
  • Both would have major beef with the clans of their series' protagonists (Iori fighting Kyo because of him being a Kusanagi and Kouma's clan getting massacred by Kiri, who he would have encounter again when Makihisa ordered him to slaughter the Nanaya clan), however they would move on from this (Iori not caring about the clan rivalry anymore and befriending Kyo and Kouma sparing Shiki when he was the only living Nanaya left), they still want to fight them though (Iori constantly challenging Kyo because... He wants to? It's really vague in KoF, while Kouma wants to face Shiki's Nanaya personality).
  • In combat both appear very violent and crazy, using their clan's martial art that allows them to use pyrokinesis (Yasakani style and Single Horn) and having things like berserker forms that they gain from their blood (Orochi Iori Crimson Red Vermillion Kouma), they even laugh like crazy guys while fighting, however in their everyday lives, they are very peaceful (Iori being a jazz musician who in reality hates violence and only displays while fighting, while Kouma is a hermit monk who lives alongside animals).
  • Both have hairstyles where one of their eyes gets covered lul.
Huh, that's a neat idea.
Why did Fate / Type-Moon stuff get nuked?
The pages were outdated. That's it. It's likely going to come back (just with everything using the outdated template) after Agnaa's thread about outdated pages goes through.

Is it better than Tarnished vs BOTW Link?
I'd say so, yeah. You can have both of them start out with basic sword attacks against eachother (since the Raging Wolf set is basically the canon Tarnished build), and when the Tarnished starts using magic, will can use his Archetype transformation to use magic himself. There's just this seemless progression to the fight that isn't as present in the Tarnished vs BotW Link, and more solid connections, since BotW Link just feels like a Fandom rivalry match than a fight between two characters.
How strong is will
Errrr, I will say weaker than the Tarnished. However, he does make up for the gap with general hax and speed.

I've yet to play the game, and even I'm surprised Metaphor MUs have not been discussed yet.

Another version of my Xeno JRPG MU charts (which I'll upload when I'm done with the F-Zero anime) actually amended Dunban's MUs to include Heismay after eyeballing his backstory (if nothing else, for the animation potential), so stay tuned for that.

How strong is will
SMT subsidiary continuity - it's probably wanked to high hell and back.

Newest Hulk issue, and here's Thor at the end, ON SIGHT, attacking his friend and a literal teen. He didn't ask what was up, if Hulk is under a spell, if she's a shapeshifter, nothin, he didn't care. I've been reading up on my Marvel lore, and this happens A LOT. Not even just to Hulk (but mostly him) every hero is just ready to jump one another. Age of Ultron had Wolverine and Invisible Woman ice Hank Pym to prevent Ultron. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO TALK IT OUT, Wolverine jumps him. All-New X-Men has Thor (again) knock the X-Men Blackbird out of the sky without warning, on Captain America's orders, all because Mystique has them set against each other. I'd understand the confusion, but given how often shapeshifting shenanigans happens and the fact SHIELD knows she broke a villain with illusion powers out of jail, it just looks like the Avengers are trying to start shit. Hell they jump Hulk again in Immortal Hulk, and Thor jumps him again in Hulk vs Thor.

Don't be friends with these guys, every single one is disloyal. People act like Civil War was character assassination, but nah that shit was inevitable.

It's funny how ya have the heroes ready to smoke each other more often than DC not to say the latter don't get it as well but marvel tend to do it more often

So wait, is Al Ewing fixing Thor, or has he been the one writing him OOC this whole time?

Ok Yugioh scholars, is Yugi a fraud? How many of his monsters are at uni or beyond? Is the fact that seemingly his uni stuff are anime only(tho nowadays this isnt an issue ig...) a big deal?
