With 3000 dollars in my currency i would spend it on daily needs, if lucky, on stuff like maybe a game on sale, that guy deadass spent 3K on a match up that isnt fair either, but niche among people

Considering how much glazing Megatron got from his antimatter, his MC actually has antimatter weapons, then Doomslayer does need to resist that or be able to not get hit for him to not die.
Im taking a guess that DS probably has arguments that he resist it.

Not sure about Megatron, I assume his anti-matter was standard equipment, but only two weapons Chief has used has anti-matter, and they are promethean weapons. He only fought Prometheans for a short period, and even then they were rare for promethean standards.
Basically Chief's only barely win conditions are two weapons he rarely ever uses or even has access to which don't even actually do enough damage to harm Doomslayer, they just ignore durability (DS can also block them with his Turret Shield). Meanwhile Doomslayer doesn't need his BFG or Unmakyr or Crucible or potentially even the Ballista he uses all the time and just needs a couple well placed Super Shotgun shots to splatter Chief. Hell Doomslayer's punches might be enough to instakill Chief given he could shatter chains holding up the tension of skyscraper sized titans for millenia.

From the sounds of it, if MC cant reliably use his antimatter weapons then yeah, he'd be screwed. But after all the talk about this being biggest stomp in KS DB Era, if MC's antimatter technically could work, Id take that as a win for for MC having sth.

Eh not really? It's moreso Frieza didn't really resist such a thing. And ultimately, Frieza being much faster meant that the Anti-Matter wouldn't have helped that much

Specifically from community that is.
Unless Ive misunderstood antimatter, that it colliding with any matter causes them to explode into pure energy, while in theory this should allow to Megatron to punch way above his power rank, it still means that it can be blocked by sufficient amount of matter. As such, Frieza's Ki shields & Nova Strike would block antimatter really really well.

It's not an AP thing but moreso some weird form of transmutation. Doesn't really matter how tough you are in this scenario.
Though like I said, superior speed ultimately meant this doesn't matter.

Hmmm is it really transmutation? Its a biological reaction since its about matter reacting to sth. Its not like burning wood into ash counts as transmutation.

So basically Chief has two antimatter weapons, the Incineration Cannon and Binary Rifle. They aren't UNSC weapons so he won't have them often, they're also not covenant weapons so it doesn't have the iconic status like the energy sword. They are Promethean weapons, something he only really fought between Halo 4 and 5, and beyond that the Binary Rifle and Incineration Cannon were rare for Prometheans, basically appearing like twice in either of the actual games.
Furthermore, the Incineration Cannon projectile only moves at 48.37-68.90 m/s which Doomslayer can easily dodge. Regarding the Binary Rifle, when aimed at by the rifle, the target receives a bright glare to alert them, so Doomslayer is gonna realize Chief is using some weird weapon. It then helps that Doomslayer also has an energy shield for his chaingun (that can also do damage) which is bad news for Chief because even in the Halo games, Hardlight Shields can resist Binary Rifle shots.
Actually now that I think about it, that also means the Hardlight Shield from Chief serves as a half second defensive roadblock against Doomslayer. It might be able to resist a ballista shot, but once again it's Promethean tech and while more common than the Incineration Cannon and Binary Rifle, still won't be as common as something like the Drop or Bubble Shield he uses a lot more. Doomslayer also has area of effect weapons like rocket splash damage, grenades, the BFG, etc so won't matter.

This will be a motivating and driving factor for most VS debaters, as opposed to objectively and impartially ascertaining which character is stronger than which. It's just a matter that this behavior comes in varying degrees, and some VS debaters are more reasonable than others. There's seldom ever a situation where VS debating is truly impartial and not driven by some degree of bias.
This behavior is inseparable from the VS debating community at large. At the end of the day the hobby is just a more advanced version of petty playground arguments about who is stronger than who. VS debaters try to act as if they're impartial and not driven by childish favoritism, but that's untrue for like 99% of them.

I don't know if it's the autism turning into OCD but I care more about what makes most sense and what is most right than my characters losing. I joke about 1-A Simon arguments, but I would never actually support them just to get Simon to beat Kyle because 1-A Simon looks wrong as it stands. I don't want my characters unbeatable. I want them correct.

I cant even deny that Im more lenient to my favorites. But man Id happily nerf shit if everyone would stomp wanking as well. Unfortunately VS being subjective means that there is no objective truth on who deserves nerfs, so wankage just keeps continuing. I almost have to wank to be able to talk here.
Also VS stuff is really complicated, like antimatter being transmutation? Id say no to that but the fact is apparently thats a thought.

I said transmutation because that was the best way to compare it. Burning wood to ash is a chemical change. The way Anti-matter works via colliding with positive matter which then causes both particles to explode because of their opposite charges. That's not something you can negate with just durability since it outright ignores it. So long as you're made of physical matter, it's going to affect you no matter what.

I dunno. Antimatter + matter reaction is still based on real life logic. Transmutation is fictional thing that makes things become different things because fiction. I wouldnt compare them.

There's another variant of VS bias where people aren't necessarily biased to their favorites, but what feel's "right" for their favorites. It's a very real experience.

Ngl I gravitate more to this, like Optimus vs Superman is my fav MU for Optimus, but Optimus gets annihilated no matter how you look at it, even if we throw every multiversal version he has.

Oh yeah i totally agree, i mean even this site which is actually a lot more consistent with its tier will often have characters bounce back between tiers like 3 times a year if its debatable enough or if people realize the other side is arguing in bad faith. Its why you can never get too mad about people opinions or at DB being inconsistent because its just fun
I mean hell, DB went from like Building Level Raven to Outerversal+ Raven in the span of one fight, so you can't ever get too mad if your character is downplayed because they can always come back better if the fight demands.

Oh no i'd be mad, but lets be honest I know they aren't gonna give Doomguy his Immeasurable Speed or 6D Scaling against Master Chief because that would just be a boring fight and people voted on it so they'd be disappointed if they spent there entire battle talking about how much of a stomp it is. So its already gonna be wrong no matter how they spin it.
Now if they did use maximum potential Doomguy then pulled out some ****** 11D Master Chief shit, then it be time to send 10,000 Homura Body Pillows to Ben's house.

I mean, yes, I think you're right. But, uh... if you ask me, everything we do is biased to at least some extent. Even if we were to try to check some hard science fact or academic theory, we would still lean towards proof that aligns with whatever thing we agree with or believe in. I think what's valuable is to be able to walk past that bias and be able to acknowledge that our favorite may not be the one to come on top or endure.
