That's true, but I'm a lazy bum, and MHA is pretty long. I believe I was on the Joint Training Arc when Shigaraki VS Mahito was announced so I did get through a good chuck of eps, at least.

Ngl, the animation is janky asf but it fits with the body horror of the characters so I actually give this a pass. I liked it VERY much. And I am glad they didn’t pull a Death Battle moment and NLF Mahito.

Wow, even the G1 said Mahito couldn't run out of cursed energy, Death Battle didn't even give him that.

Haha! Like. a. *****! They even replicated the scene of Mahito running away, lol. That was a pretty neat touch I was hoping they would keep.

Overall that was pretty darn good. Jokes aside, Mahito did surprisingly well, I was fully expecting Tomura to sweep all categories, not to mention how Mahito's stats were pretty formidable on his own merit.

I also found it strangely funny that the battle also came to who was less edgy between the two: the angry teen with pent up issues or the Nietzche wannabe.

Peak battle 9/10. The animation was clean, and the character interactions were fun. Got no real complaints. Also, Mahito turning and running is so funny to me cause I can't stop thinking about how much it looks like this Bowser gif;

Also, rip Chief, bro is beyond cooked.
