DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

I mean, it's not like there are any better alternatives to dimensional tiering, if so many people have such an issue with it. Like yeah, you could say that insert character here is massively into 4-D/Multiversal and all that shit, but when you have a series or story that has blatantly higher dimenionsal statements and feats? It's not something that should just be ignored because it "doesn't make sense."

Since I don't want to go for the low hanging fruit and just mention DC and Marvel, franchises like the Cthulhu Mythos are other examples that come to mind in terms of the usage of higher dimensions.

If people were truly honest about wanking they would have done it years ago. No one will complain about Outerversal shit for the next time so I dont find this talk to be honest at all.
Folks been complain about this shit it's just that peeps just kept going down the rabbit hole of powerscaling brainrot folks ignore it

And ignoring the usual complaints about DT there's obvious agenda to wank ya average capeshit character to levels that they don't operate at there peak

Wouldn't it be considered disrespectful if a character does an action their opponent would be known for doing? (Example being what Kratos did with Destructor Asura)

A lot of other characters would beat Archie Silver if DB started doing more direct dimensional scaling. I guess theyre doing the multiversal and universal stuff because normies wont get it if they dont do that.

This list feels so samey, I guess its because theres a lot of characters that share the same tier. I feel like every character nowadays in DB is infinite multiversal and thousands of times universal.

Remember Itsuno left Capcom not long ago, so the director whom tried to save DMC2 from being any worse, along the 3rd, 4th and 5th game isn't working there anymore

Better do a remake if its gonna happen from what Vergil VA implied, cuz DMC6 without a good better doesn't seem like it

DMC is a series I admittedly need to get into at some point, so I can't speak too much on that.

Just bring back Reuben Langdon as Dante and we're golden. Bro is based.

I remember when these guys made a Pretty Cure vs Sailor Moon matchup and everything was fine except for the Manga Sailor Moon information. Aside from that experience, they make good blogs.
Yeah, Mazinger Z VS Getter Robo was great. It unfortunately had to be deleted because of some anime piracy thing, but we're working on bringing it back with Imgur links instead.

Anyway, I cannot wait for an Astro Boy blog, given how outdated our Tezuka-Verse pages are. (as if a discussion thread hardly had anyone visiting)

Ryu VS Kenshiro will go hard even if it's a stomp on latter's favor, surely.

Personally not a fan of this one, I don't like how the MU doesn't really focus on Soma being the reincarnation of Dracula, which is his main thing story-wise, the fight could be fun though
While that is a big part of his story, another major part of it is how his bonds saved him. I feel like it's a good substitute, considering how both series (or well, the Sorrow series specifically) focus on that topic, with Narukami's bonds empowering him and Soma's helping him gain the power to fight Chaos. Plus, Both's powers revolve around religious and mythological figures in one way or another, which is another obvious connection.
