Dragon Ball: Finite Universe

I’m not so sure, if you said for instance you were heading to/for 3 places, then you prob traveled to each and every one. If you were heading to/for infinite galaxies, wouldn’t the same apply?
They're heading off to boundless galaxies (like heading off to sea) to travel through them, not actually go to every single one, I think the analogy works fine. And the Black Star DBs are stated to be dispersed across the entire universe and all 4 quadrants which sounds like it would qualify for travelling infinite galaxies.

Wouldn’t that be infinite speed for their spaceship tho? Forgive me, it’s been a while since I’ve seen gt

When this thread gets finished I pretend to make a CRT explaining why 2-C Macrocosm is also wrong. Until then, people need to stay on topic here and analyze the arguments presented in post #1.

Not really. A sector in totality might be considered infinite but it doesn't mean the distance between everything has to be infinite. Plus isn't it just in another galaxy?
Namek is outside King Kai's juristriction, so it'd be in another sector, and since sectors are infinite, Bulma and co are gonna have to travel through that infinity to get to another sector

Letting you all know, I unfortunately will be out for the rest of the night. Avoid derailing and clogging the thread with circular discussions. You don't need to convince each other side, just present your arguments and let staff evaluate.

i will urge staff to actually read the entire OP and its proposals, as well as those that disagree.

Have a nice one, everyone. Stay civil.

Well then. We doing this earlier than expected.

Last thread for reference.

Relevant parties: @Executor_N0 @LordGriffin1000 @Firestorm808 @DarkDragonMedeus @LordTracer @Planck69 @Damage3245 @Deagonx

I will be heavily moderating this. At the minimal chance of derail, I will straight move this to a staff discussion.
IIRC, 2-C Macrocosm was something agreed on prior to the composite thread.
Well, we have this translation here that is very accurate about things related to the infinite Universe, this translation fits perfectly with @Zamasu_Chan and I wanted it to be checked beforehand by @Executor_N0

Translation credits: @Alonik

Koyama is the canon director of DBZ, he only says this out of respect for the canon that is made by Akira toriyama, when it is used in Toei it is absolutely right and nothing wrong with that.
Yet he has said multiple times that the things he has stated is just his opinion and what he himself personally thinks, and that one should ask Toei and the "original author side" himself first?
Yeah no, he ain't reliable bro, no way 😭

A sector was never accepted as infinite sectors are just cardinal directions the universe in its totality is infinite though

I’ll read through this crt later but if the arguments are translation related we’ll need Executor’s input though he already translated all relevant scans

Yes. How else do you think we have 2-C macrocosm
Well it’s supporting evidence the main arguments are that the fanmade name “Outer Space” is actually called “The Universe” and is based off our Universe meaning that realm is Low 2-C by itself via our standards though my blog needs updated

I didn't get it. People are saying that the sectors of the universe are not infinite, but the universe itself is; then why in Toei Broly's profile it is said this?

If that doesn't fulfil the justification of High 3-A, it shouldn't even be in the profile. Anyway, an infinite universe being divided in finite sectors is pretty much blatantly wrong also.

Infinity / 4 = Infinity, that's why

Along with Paragus stating he'd destroy the universe. Honestly Toei Cell has a similar statement, where's his rating?

Like Lephyr suggested, the opposing side should likely gather up counterarguments into a single post, instead of drip-feeding the discussion with Koyama tweets and spaceship-related conjecture.

Infinity / 4 = Infinity, that's why

That's not what I'm exactly referring to. All the 4 sectors of the universe share the same three-dimensional space and thus shouldn't have a division between them, as they would be the same thing (infinity).

Along with Paragus stating he'd destroy the universe.

That's the second justification on his profile about his tiering. I marked underline in bold the first one, which shouldn't be there.

Anyway, quoting myself:

Broly would eventually destroy the Universe

yeah no infinity/4 justification is a no he gets it from eventually destroying the universe

Read my message again.

Because we mention that Broly was Ravaging the south quadrant but if you look at the end it’s stated he’d eventually destroy the universe after he was done with the south quadrant

Yes, but him destroying the South Quadrant should not be used as a justification for High 3-A, especially considering that one of the scans is Koyama (an unreliable source) saying the universe has countless galaxies, which would lead readers to interpreted it as if you guys argue that is enough proof of High 3-A (which is not).

Never used the South quadrant to upgrade him to High 3-A, my god the destruction of the southern galaxy was just to upgrade him to 3-B with countless quotes of him destroying Galaxies in the plural by author and directors, even artwork showing So, he only got High 3-A because he's mentioned several quotes within the movie mentioning that he could destroy the universe and there's even mention about destroying multiple sectors of galaxies during the movie. They were supposed to get that thing out of there before they upgraded Broly to High 3-A.

tbh i think that it is norm at this point

speaking serious now, could you add tags to the thread? that would help people to find this, at least, i think that mods can do this, if not, then please just ignore this comment as i go back to watch this unfold
