Introduction

It is important to clarify that the present discourse is neither intended as a personal attack nor is it connected in any way to the previously mentioned threads related to Fuji and Pain. Rather, it represents a collective decision taken by the MG community. The matter under consideration pertains to the proposed removal of a particular verse, which has garnered significant notoriety on account of several factors. The verse in question has been in existence for a considerable duration, yet has come to be plagued by issues such as machine-translated text, exaggerated claims, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies. Consequently, it has failed to generate much interest or attention from the broader community, with only a few individuals such as Elde, Tatsumi, Dereck, UMR, and a select few others showing any significant interest or involvement.

Deletion Reasons

For several years, the aforementioned verse has existed, founded on the source material known as WN. A significant portion of the literary content has been generated via automated machine translation, which has resulted in frequent occurrences of mistranslation and inconsistency. Moreover, the primary focus of this verse has been on characters belonging to the Godly tiers, while other characters have been neglected. As a result, numerous members have voiced their dissatisfaction regarding the inaccuracies present in the translations. To address this issue, it has been decided that henceforth only official translations will be utilized. Furthermore, in order to ensure greater consistency and accuracy in our character profiles, we shall now be basing them on the LN instead.

Conclusion

Building on the previously shared reasons, it is evident that there have been persistent concerns related to the accuracy and consistency of certain literary works. In order to address these concerns and uphold a higher standard of quality, it has been suggested that we shift our focus solely towards the official translations of the LN.

The decision to prioritize official translations over other forms of literary content is based on several factors, including the prevalence of machine translation which has often led to inaccuracies, inconsistencies and an overall poor reputation of certain verses. Furthermore, the move to LN official translations is aimed at ensuring greater accuracy and consistency in character profiles, which is essential to cultivating a more rigorous and professional approach towards literary analysis.

It is important to acknowledge the contributions of individual members within the literary community, while also acknowledging the need for a more structured and standardized approach that emphasizes the use of reliable sources. This approach aligns with broader trends in academia, which places a strong emphasis on the use of reputable sources and adhering to established academic standards.

In conclusion, the decision to exclusively utilize official LN translations represents a positive step towards promoting accuracy, consistency, and professionalism within the literary community.

The work

It is important to note that all the work, with the exception of the specified ones (the bellow one), has been stored in my personal sandboxes. These profiles have been meticulously preserved, and are accessible for reference on my public profile. As a professional, I hold the contributions of each individual in high regard, and accordingly, I shall endeavor to enhance the accuracy of the aforementioned profiles, and work towards augmenting their quality.

Content Moderator Assistance Request

Since I don't have permission to view code from blog pages as a member, I need any content moderator to get me the codes under my profile sandbox
And also assistance of removing the verse since I don't have permission for that.

Note

It is pertinent to note that in the context of this discussion, opinions from members who harbor negative sentiments towards MG are not being sought or considered. Consequently, any attempts at derailing the conversation by such parties would be unwarranted and counterproductive to the constructive exchange of ideas that is being encouraged.

RIP WN profile

Tbh, Anos profile at least has a good profile quality with scans and references when compared to some other profiles that are outdated, very unfortunate if all of them have to be deleted, especially since you all have worked so hard for the accuracy of the profile.

Well I mean when "even higher degree of type 4" exist I find myself chuckling at accuracy- even if it is true at least Anos' profile was kept in good shape

Best we can hope for is the WN profiles somehow being exactly accurate as the eventual LN version. But I highly doubt that's happening.

Jesus at first I thought the verse was just gonna be wiped. 😭

But I'm glad it'll just get revamped. There were a few glaring or confusing matters within the verse stuff. I wish good luck to all the supporters who will work on the LN version. I'm excited to see the improvements!

Dareaperman, if you have nothing important to say, don't derail.
