Oh Lex Luthor vs Doctor Doom and Batman vs Iron Man...
While people almost agree how Doctor Doom is one of THE STRONGEST non-omnipotent characters and therefore should win over Lex... Iron Man versus Batman is more controversial.
Heihachi Mishima vs Geese Howard. Controversial, debatable, enjoyable, exciting, informative. No wonder it is THE BEST perceived Death Battle episode ever.
Just because the discussion is more intellectual and mannered and cultural does not mean it is not controversial.
Batman vs Iron Man is a bit controversial actually, not as controversial a debate as Dio vs Alucard but still.

Again I get why y’all are nervous, but everyone in the research team already thinks DIO wins. Like it’s been like this for the longest time but now we’re suddenly doubting DIO chances of winning?
DIO consistently has the AP and Dura advantage to the point where Alucard can’t even hurt him, the only way you can get argue Alu harming DIO is with his TK however he’s literally never used it for combat ever so even then it questionable.
And again stop low balling JOJO characters to rela. They clearly change there stats for JOJO characters and there not going to consider FTL as a outlier for some reason as the verse has multiple FTL feats. Like this has been argue multiple times here and outside the wiki with MFTL JOJO still being a thing( at least for some characters). DIO being MFTL mean deadass Alu can’t touch DIO. Like this isn’t arguable DIO blitz’s the entire fight, and along with TS Alc changes of hitting or even seeing DIO become impossible to literally even more impossible.
Alc only saving grace is his regen which he lose when going level 0. So there that. I’m mean guys one of Alu win cons is LITERALLY waiting till the sun comes out. As DIO is stupid enough to wait for that long Imao

It’s more that Liam the guy writing the episode has always believed DIO wins. And now all of a sudden that’s he’s writing the episode people think he believes Alucard wins??? Like that’s not how that works lol. Also some of the other members in the research team years back also believe DIO won.

- Dio is far faster than Alucard
- TimeStop will get stronger over the course of the fight making it hard for Alucard to drag things out

Its sort of like what happened with GB vs RF. Overwhelming majority of people knew Thawne should win, but I know of a couple who thought and were worried that Black might win on some bullshit. Their worries were founded on nothing, of course, just as they are here. I will be genuinely shocked if Dio loses, just like I would've been if Thawne lost to Black, because its THAT unlikely to happen.

Stats gap can't be winning argument if Al can still regen from Dio's attacks. Dio needs to vaporize/bypass Al's regen fully, if he can do that, then that's the win con.

Alucard loses his Regen when he goes lvl 0. Not that hard to kill him afterwards especially with stopping time and MFLT reactions lol.
