Hiei might let himself get hit by one and make it look like he died with his illusions. That or weigh his options and continue dodging until he can find an opening. Does Yuno have any homing attacks?

This is true. Hiei’s speed amps arent major in comparison to Yuno’s. They’re primarily AP based, as Hiei is fast enough as it is.

Illusions and fake death might not work, Yuno's actually done the same thing himself and make it look like he was erased.

Dodging might not be the best option either, as Yuno is set to charge with his deconstruction hax+weapons, but he has no homing attacks.
 
I mean Hiei is a much more skilled fighter. And is there a counter argument for Hiei dropping his body and just going hardcore cqc without having to worry about the disintegration field? A Hiei up in his face isn’t gonna be an easy fight, even if he can see and hit him, given how crazy good Hiei is in a swordfight.

Nah, Yuno passively disintegrates everything on a molecular level. If its made of molecules and gets too close, it's gone without exceptions. And while Hiei is absolutely better in close ranged combat, Yuno is still an incredibly skilled magic knight himself; he figured out mana zone without needing to be taught and impressed enough to become vice captain of the highest ranked squad through achievements alone.
 
Also, Yuno's deconstruction isn't limited to physical matter: He disintegrated Zenon's bone magic with this passive as well, so I don't think DotDF will do much either.
 
does hiei have good range how is he contending with yuno who flys and has the superior range
 
Even with flight, he's not catching up to Yuno with all of his speed amps, so DotDF and clairvoyance are his only ways of dealing with Yuno at a distance; and Yuno disintegrates DotDF and clairvoyance just isn't enough to close the speed gap.

Wind amps his speed, he has 2 different levels of Spirit Dive (Standard and Boreas) which give all stats amp, mana zone is all stats amp again on top of casting his spells from points away from himself, hush dance is precognition.

Yea, Yuno kinda ran away with this one lol. And don't get me wrong, Hiei is one of my favorites, but realistically he can't do much against Yuno in these conditions.
Also, does that mean you're voting Hiei FRA? If so, 2 votes out of 5

Wait, does spirit energy not affect Hiei when he leaves his body? Gonna need a scan for this. (Also, I'm going to bed; I'll check back in the morning)

Joking aside one of the characters for the next thread will be a leading Lady from one of the Big Three, so take that as you will.

Seeing as you want to use Sakura, it would have to be her and if there is only one main girl from the Big 3, the theme would have to be something that applies to her but not the other two. Could be “useless” characters but since peeps think Orihime is useless (plus Yuno definitely slaps in that one), that can’t be it and the only other thing that Sakura has is being a healer which also applies to Orihime (in a sense) ....... maybe “pink”? Time for Natsu to come back

the next thread will def Include a few game characters.
but yes anyone can enter, I just mostly use anime/shonen more commonly because it makes it easier for people to get invested in the thread because battle shonen is the most popular on this battleboard, I do try to get some weirder or different characters now and again, or less represented but I will try and experiment more with it in the future, given the royals stay popular enough.

The Theme is siblings, characters will either be older brother/sisters or younger/brother/sisters.
