Reforged Ideals Thread 11: Return

"As for my opinion, well, I don't have any strong opinions on most of them, Eike is an unusual one, though I don't see him getting in the way much anymore, Fujin is a bit of a bother to deal with sometimes, recording and taking pictures of everything we do and all that. Andrew is... strange. Crunkledunk may make some questionable choices sometimes, but he means well. The rest I don't have all that much to say about." Nicholas answers, giving his own thoughts on the others.

Elsewhere, many robotic bodies and armors are working on various things.

Jonathan approaches Eike, he holds out his hand, showing a circular device.

"I believe this may be of some use to you, it's an anti-tracking device, similar to the ones I use, it should make your actions a bit more private, as much as that is possible at least, as long as it remains active and on your person. Be aware though, this will lose effectiveness if you attempt to use it in combat."

Kyouka nods in response

"Speaking of Andrew, his plan to summon a Challenger early, it is supposed to start in an hour or two isn't it?"

"Well, I suppose I get your point. Though I may say that analogy doesn't work in my case as talking or listening to someone only takes up an extremely insignificant fraction of my thought capacity" Crunkledunk resounds to Sapheram. "Although, it is quite inconvenient to me, after talking to Nicholas something is nagging me at the back of my head but I somehow can't articulate it"

"I'm sure you'll figure it out eventually."

Sapheram looks at his surroundings, at the people, the tiny figures, walking around down below.

"Well I was going to ask if you were ready, but you've already answered that I suppose."

"Hm, I should be wearing other clothes, shouldn't I?"

Sapheram points to the right.

"Clothes beam!"

A new set of clothes appear in the air. Sapheram telekinetically holds them there and teleports into them perfectly with his previous clothes falling into his dimensional storage.

"Indeed, I've refined some of the technologies I possess for greater combat use, meant for facing the Challenger."

"That's good then, let's hope the others prepared as well."

I wonder if there are more colors than just red and blue, and I wonder if those two forces are actually opposed to eachother.

Kyouka looks outside at the scenery from above

"It sure does look different from up here does it not? Everything is smaller, and that allows for more to be seen by the naked eye, it's different than seeing the things on a screen right?"

"Why were you talking to that person that seemed to be a mix of Amy, Dilma and Ruby by the way? Whatever the story behind how that happened is"

"Oh you mean Scarlet? I met her when I discovered a hideout in Egypt. She wanted to do something, so she showed me one of the supposedly most beautiful places on this planet."

The ferris wheel stops and Sapheram steps out.

"..."

Ruby just stare cold rage in her eyes, thought she knows of being powerless to help Amy ...

She also wonders if Nicholas will even do anything about this or ... will just let it slide like he did with the killing spree in India.

[Wherever they need to be]

"I suppose it does." Nicholas answers Kyouka before the ferris wheel stops and he steps out.

"I've been working on a new, rather grand project as well, maybe you want to see it before we face off against the next Challenger?" Nicholas proposes.

"Indeed, I would like to see it."

Also, Arrancar clean up the mess they made and collect the souls into a pool within Kyouka's room

[You could probably just yell into the sky and they'd know, either that or just go to the Garden as that place is full of them, or any of Nicholas' assorted labs across the globe]

"Alright, this one is held in a separate dimension, let's go." Nicholas says, projecting a light from his body that takes both him and Kyouka to it.

Kyouka would see a partially complete, absolutely massive ship below her, being worked on by a multitude of bodies and containing extremely varied technologies.

A different dimension this time. Kyouka thinks, she is then taken aback by the size of the ship and it's variety in technology

"What is the purpose of this ship?" She asks

"It serves several purposes, though its main one is to ensure continued human survival across the ages, it will act as a storage for the genetic information of every individual human, as well as other things such as humanity's collective knowledge, effectively it allows it to recreate any human, memories, soul, mind and all, should they die, though this doesn't apply to the powered individuals. This ship will be the most well defended project I have created thus far, and in a way it will be my final gift to this world."

"Interesting, so you'd be able to fix humanity if they were to suffer an extinction event, for instance. That's quite a gift to this world, and heavy defenses make sense for something like this."

"Indeed. Optimally, the ship would never need to be utilized in this way, in which case it will simply exist until it is needed for anything. It is a failsafe mechanism in the case of humanity facing extinction. After that, well, I am unsure of what else to create for humanity."

"Fascinating. Well, I am also not sure what you could create for humanity when you complete this, maybe you'll figure something out." Kyouka says, looking down at the ship

"How long do you think it will take to be finished?"

"The technology here is incredibly complex even by my standards, though it shouldn't take much longer now. One of the main features of the ship that I have created is something I call a "Dimensional Anchor", effectively it allows the ship to exist in multiple places at once, necessitating it to be attacked in all of them at once if one even wishes to damage it at all, it also allows it to freely shift between realms parallel to this place." Nicholas explains.

"If you don't have any more questions we can move on. There's no point in keeping the two of you around if you're just going to keep resisting me and trying to kidnap Amy, so you have two options. Either submit your own wills to me alongside her, or unfuse and go bother someone else. After you've gotten down on your knees a-"... but Jonathan interrupts.

Jonathan coughs conspicuously loudly, interrupting Layla's remark.

"Anyways, the point here is that you won't be allowed to leave with Amy, so either unfuse willingly or it'll be done for you."

"Try and be a bit less aggressive, we're trying to keep Amy here, not have them try and run off with her." He says to Layla telepathically.

"I see, mounting an assault on this would be effectively impossible then. It's unfortunate that you can't replicate powered people, otherwise you could have used it to ensure you survive. Although I guess you already have other methods of doing that."

"I've already ensured that through other methods, as I have many technologies capable of producing new iterations of me if needed, but that's not what's relevant here. The ability you gave me, The Visionary, was certainly useful for various purposes, as it allowed me to produce souls, including more of my own for various uses. If you're interested, I could show you around the ship more once it's complete, but for now I believe we should return to the Garden." Nicholas answers, before taking them both back, reappearing in his lab in the Garden.

"I see you've been producing soldiers, do you require my assistance at all?" He asks.

"Well not with the soldires really. However there are two things I would like assistance with." Kyouka says, revealing both the Hogyoku and Jeweled Sword.

"I would like you to produce a few more of these cubes, so that they can be fed to enhance the strength of one of them, maybe even repeat the process for yourself. As for the sword, if possible, I'd like to see if you could figure out how to utilize the method it employes to gather energy from parallel worlds. If that's possible, it would allow us to move around through an infinite amount of worlds even easier."

Nicholas takes both, analyzing them thoroughly and instantly discerning their nature.

He produces a few more of the Hogyoku with The Visionary, including taking some for himself.

"I will get to work." He answers, several bodies and armors enter through portals and begin working, specifically on the Jeweled Sword, as the Hogyoku were already produced.

Kyouka grabs the remaining Hogyoku and fuses them together, merging with the one that is left over.

"Well I'll leave you to it then." She says, heading back to where the Arrancar were being made

She collects the numerous souls and cheeses using the Hogyoku, combines and stabalizes them with her own soul, repairing and strengthening it even further

"What did you think of the place" Crunkledunk responds to Sapheram getting out of the Ferris Wheel. "Oh, you don't really need to wear fitting clothes by the way, I've been fine without. Not like they could do anything to you"
