Devil May Cry speed downgrades

So currently we have all of Devil May Cry's High 6-A characters tiered sub-reletivistic for speed as they scale off Abigail's lightning which was calculated to be mach 40,000

However there are some problems with this

1
. Dante never interacted with Abigail's lightning it's just assumed that all of Abigail's attacks are this fast which is as some people have pointed out incorrect and also far too generous of an assumption to make. It would be the same case as scaling the FF2 cast to mach 24,000 because they defeated Mateus who was that fast with one attack they never reacted too, DCEU Superman being speed of light and so on, their speed and that of many other characters isn't tiered the same way as Dante's is so obviously they didn't get a pass on the above, yet Dante does for some reason

2. The feat is most likley an outlier, the guy doing the calc also said it clearly himself. There are no other sub-reletivistic speed feats in Devil May Cry at all since all of the speed feats are MHS+, Nevan's lightning, lightning speed attack descriptions, blitz, ect...

2. I don't really care about the interaction thing but we've been over this a thousand times

One big feat above the others isn't automatically an outlier

An outlier is when a feat is contradicted, and this isn't one of those cases.

One Piece has Relativistic God Tiers that perform the feat with effort while every other feat is an extremely casual MHS+ feat.

What contradicts this aside from it being High?

@Gargoyle what contradicts it is that its a feat of attack speed that doesnt scale to reactions or combat speed as Dante never interacted with the lightning in the ifrst place

The word "outlier" was incorrect in this case it was just that the guy doing the calc said it and he was wrong as there are no contradictions. But I agree with Weekly. Dante never interacted with the lightning so he shouldn't scale to it

See the outiler argument doesn't make much sense to me, but if the scaling is really wrong then I suppose it should be downgraded based on that fact. But I still think DMC 2 Dante should still scale, seeing as how he should be massively superior to anything Abigail can dish out.

Didn't Dante react to Abigail's lightning, which is literally the exact same thing he did to have Sub Rel speed?

Dante has Sub-Rel speed due to keeping up with Abagail who is only sub-rel in attack speed via lightning that moved that fast

@ Kep, @Spinosaurus

Dante never did interact he just fought Abigail with his sword when none of Abigail's lightning was present, here is the fight

Looking through that entire episode i found a massive problem with the High 6-A cloud calc

Mainly there are no clouds in that feat at all

Okay I did bring this up a while back but there is some stuff of Dante dodging lasers and there are 3 things in favour of it being a real laser

Always moves in a straight line

Always the same speed

Is intangible

Is that enough evidence

Here is Dante dodging it https://i.imgur.com/uBjybtY.gif

@Peter No there werent, in the same scene you literally see stars in the sky above where the portal was, and later in the episode Dante and Abigail fight at the center of it and its a clear sky with the moon visible. There are no clouds.

Here is the full episode so people can look for reference, the feat in question happens at 6:32. Lady and Trish start fighting some demons at 8:27, no clouds. At 9:26 you see stars and the moon in the sky with no clouds present. And again at 10:07. And at 12:06 when Trish and Lady attack Abigail the sky is clear and stars and the moon are clearly visible with no clouds. And again at 15:23. And the entire fight scene that starts at 18:26.

There are no clouds. The feat isnt a cloud feat. The calculation is wrong.

@Peter Refer to my comment of every scene in that episode where you see no clouds and a clear night sky

You're completely misinterpreting DontTalk's calc. He calc'ed the energy required to blow away the portion of the atmosphere visible on the big Earth wideshot after the portal is opened, which is something that did happen.

from don'talks calc " If one looks closely the cloud has already extended a bit before the extension scene, so that part has to be subtracted. For that I have drawn the purple line for the extension on an image of the original extension and then laid that image with transperence above the other one. "

aka he already took that into considration and subtractet it from the result

...Which is literally what I said, dude.
Blowing away part of the atmosphere and calculating the kinetec energy of an expanding cloud are two different things. DT calced the latter.
