Continuing from this mess. https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/1474847

It seems that the subject of Madara's Light Fang has regrettably resurfaced. This thread will be where we decide what to do.

Here is LordGriffin's original proposal.

"So to get this moving there are two things that are brought up a lot when disscusing Naruto characters speed and those are Haku's lightspeed movement in his mirrors and the one and only Madara's lightspeed spit attack, The Light Fang.

So first up is Haku. He is using the mirrors reflection and traveling at lightspeed to each mirror and if I'm not mistaking that is Lightspeed movement in his ice mirrors. Now Naruto grabbed or tagged Haku in mid travel which is an outlier for him and Sasuke reacted to him with the Sharingan which is also an outlier.

Lastly, the only thing I have a problem with is if Haku was moving that fast he should have been torn to pieces because even the likes of A and Tsunade were going to be destroyed at that speed if he didn't ramp himself up and she didn't use her healing to not die.

Note: If I'm wrong about that Haku thing feel free to let me know.

Now for the real reason we're here... The Light Fang. So what justifies it being lightspeed?. Well it moves in a straight line and it's stated to move at lightspeed in the Databooks.

There isn't a real problem with Madara having a lightspeed attack as many moves have different attributes.

Note: Please for the love of God don't bring up any other things, this only about the Ice Mirrors and Light Fang.

Note: No one scales to either as it's an outlier and I'd appreciate it if we don't go into it.

Haku: Lightspeed Movement in Ice Mirrors = Not Accepted

Madara: Lightspeed Attack Speed with Light Fang"

However, it seems a heated discussion over the scaling has begun. The last thread was getting heated and thus I moved this here. Hopefully this is deserving of a highlight as the last thread was circular.

Just saying now, I think Haku should be left out for now.

The LF stuff is a bigger fish to fry and is the complete focus of the discussion right now.

My biggest problem with Lightfang is that the way it's portrayed in Manga makes it extremely vague and open to interpretation, also I'm not sure why but Kishi in this instance completely ignored the three-step rule of motion in Manga, which is pretty stupid of him if he intended this to be a feat.

I'll just post this to Kep's reply in the old thread.

We don't need a timeframe, we can just compare speeds. We know Naruto moved his head down out of the way before the light hit him. So compare the distance from Madara's mouth to Naruto's head to the distance Naruto's head moved at minimum (as shown by the cut-off tips of his headband). Calc done.

Basically yes I believe it is light speed and yes I believe that Naruto dodged it putting him at Relavistic speeds.

No I dont not think anyone in Naruto is FTL. My reasons are in the last thread.

This thread will be the exact same thing.
Yes however, at least this one can start "fresh" and without all the mess the last one had. I am also more comfortable with highlighting this thread when compared to the last one.

Kishi also helps with the anime so obviously he made it more obvious what had happened.

I'm in Favour of Using a calc, or recalcing if needed, if that is acceptable to staff members and regular members alike?

Also, the fact that Naruto's headband still got cut means he moved a pretty shitty distance

We don't need a timeframe

Compare the distance Naruto's head moved in comparison to the distance the beam moved like Assalt said

So here we simply use the light speed, the distance between them and the distance Naruto moves his head in the time it takes the light fang to travels to him.

A calc should be done before this continues

If it actually does end up being Sub rel there's no need for this conversation

also i feel like we are missing the point of Girffin's post

he wasnt talking about if Naruto dodged the attack but more so if the attack itself is lightspeed

I dont see the headband being cut
i saw it in the coloured version

Thats besides the point as it should just be calced and that about it story over

Does anyone have an edit-free version of the scene this was taken from? All the ones I am finding have drawing on them.
